Have you tried any troubleshooting steps so far? If so, which ones? Are you on a wired or wireless connection? Thank you.

It´s still not Good. sometimes it´s good and sometimes it´s very Spiky. and it´s not my internet, ive test it and it´s fine. maybe time to upgrade your EA SERVERS, feels like it´s to many players on the servers and thats why it´s lagging?

What testing have you done so far?

Cuz when im playing later on the night it´s Good nothing wrong. Well I have try restart the router, and i have try many DNS´S servers. pretty sure it´s the EA Servers been hot on many players are playing.

Have you checked to see if there's a firmware update for your router?

i have weird problem, i own both ps4 and ps5.. both connected via wireless, not wired.. i have a ping spike randomly whenever i play on ps5.. no issue whatsoever when i play on ps4.. sony checked my ps5, no issue at all.. any advise?

Ping spikes are very common on wireless connections. Can you switch to a wire or is your router too far away?

Both my ps4 and ps5 are side to side.. ps4 do not spike at all when playing online fifa but ps5 does.. the router not far away but there is wall in between..

Since the router isn't too far away, can you try using a wire to see if there's an improvement?

Curious, yesterday in CHEL clubs 6vs6 I had all night double ping (~60 compared to my regular 30) and even 17% packet loss. This hasn't happened all year, but the minute we have the announcement of the techincal test, I get this?🤓

It didnt' seem to affect my gameplay too much, the player felt okish, although I got a few wierd bounces etc. but you always get those right?

I last had similar issues with connectuon quality and NHL some years ago, can't remember if it was during technical test or early after release, that was on PS4... My service provider is Telia in Finland, and I am using wired connection. I ran speed tests online with my PC (and even checked Sony's test) and everything appears to be normal. This is now happening on PS5. I will check out the situation tonight as well.

There's really no way a tweet is going to cause lag all of a sudden. There were no updates to the game. Especially nothing NHL 23 related. We're not getting other reports of this either. It would be best to start with the troubleshooting steps here. You also may want to contact your ISP to see if they are noticing anything.

I dunno, some tweets have had disastrous effect throughout the history of social media..😇

But seriously, I know it's not my end, so it has to be EA servers and/or Telia messing something up. Like I said, we had this similar thing a couple of years back, and it was resolved by you guys. All I can do is notify Telia about it.

That was a different issue and one we could reproduce. That's not the case currently. We'd have to go through troubleshooting steps to see if we can find out why this is happening. The ones I linked would be the first place to start.
