Re: Why don't they have the sphl League

It isn't a significant minor league.  I had to look them up and the first link that wasn't from the SPHL itself was discussing how their dream is to be a minor league to the ECHL, a minor league to the AHL, a minor league to the NHL.  (https://busleaguehockey.com/2019/01/10/heres-why-the-fhl-and-sphl-will-never-be-affiliated-with-nhl-teams/).  EA would have to pay licensing to include them, so while it might be nice to include them and other leagues from around the world, it is highly unlikely because it requires a cost in development and a cost in licensing dollars.  The AHL is big enough to be licensed - the CHL is big enough to be licensed - but has a single player from the SPHL ever ended up in the NHL afterward?
