OP here, Although yes the clearing mac address and stuff may have helped here and there. For me it doesnt really work anymore. Yes some odd days late at night in the overnight hours it is probably less congested. That makes sense. I agree that both ends of the connection are good except for the routers leading up to the destination server (ie game server.) That is where my problem is as I have used a program to locate the issue. The IP addresses starting with 52.94.**.*** are getting the packet loss. I get up to 60% packet loss with those routers. Yes you'll probably ask me to talk to my provider about the routing. My question to that is are there any other servers to route through to my closest game server? I have noticed that from game to game they all feel slightly different. Sometimes its really sluggish different varieties then the very odd time late at night i'll get really good skating and all my shots are actually occuring properly no delay. The game server does not accept ICMP packets but the routers leading to them do. This is where I get 30% to 60% packet loss. Still get packet loss but its different patterns of it. I find it varies from game server to game server. west will be different from east, from central etc. I can provide screenshot to support my statement. What would be the best way to convince the ISP that they need to change my routing to the game server? Is it always Amazon servers or are there different providers that I can route through?
