From what I saw, you were getting beat from chasing for hits. This takes your defender out of the play and generates odd-man rushes.
You're going to need to specifically point out when you think their players are unfairly fast. I'll watch that part of the video. Otherwise, I'm not seeing anything that proves they have some kind of boost.
Have you tried playing with base golds or less? If you truly think those items get a bonus, why not try them out and see what happens?
I'll try 82-85 players and get you the feedback.
Ok, if I'm delusional and simply playing bad (if that's what you meant) how come I easily win with better teams? Not all the time, but 7-8 games ends with a win. I think you're not getting the point of this advantage - it's not a moment it's a feel I'm in competition with way better team like 93 Karlsson, 95 Pastrnak, but in fact they are 85 and 83. Seriously I cannot tell until they score and it's showed what players are in the game...

Are you saying you should never be able to score with players that are rated lower than your opponent's?
Once again, there is no boost whatsoever when you have lower-rated players. None. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Nothing at all.
Exactly. It's way easier for me to play, score and win with team full of 89-92 than 82-85 mixed with 2-3 90-91, which seems way better than are. Weird, ha?

It makes sense you'd do better with the 89 - 92 team as they have higher overalls. So, I'm not quite understanding why you are saying lower-rated items get a boost.
I'm not getting it either, that's the reason of posting this topic. From my point of view they do get some kind of a boost, while my D gets super slow, act crazy and my goalie is like he's not playing the game. And I lose 6:1 (15:35 shots, 3:00-9:00 TOA, 65%-80% pass acc, 3-25 faceoffs etc.).
I read somewhere when building a team you need to keep the overall number under 87 (83 Laine - 91 Zibanejad - 87 Kucherov) in lines to make this boost possible. Of course, you'll say it's one of the myths.
- EA_Aljo6 years ago

Yes. That is absolutely a myth, but you're welcome to use a low rated team if you like. If what you're saying is true, the leaderboards wouldn't be full of teams with high overalls.
You wrote before: "it makes sense you'd do better with the 89 - 92 team as they have higher overalls". Does that make sense if I lose with teams with lower overall or mixed 82's and 91 players? I does not. Logic says having 90+ team I'd do better with weaker teams, it's opposite. Why is that?

A higher overall doesn't guarantee you will win against lower overall teams. You need to consider the skill between the humans that are playing. If your opponent isn't chasing for hits which lead to odd-man rushes and breakaways, but the team they're playing is doing that, it's going to give them a much better chance at winning. That's just one example. Higher overalls are giving you an advantage, but they don't do much when it comes to making up for lower skill.
it's understandable that skills are the main thing here, BUT I get the same thing over and over again with pariticular teams - built with 82-85 players mixed with 3-4 90-92 players. How come I get a feeling 80's players skate faster, pass better and have a killer shot. Every time! It's not that some of this mixed teams are good, some bad. They all have great speed and I can feel it especially after playing with more equal teams to mine. Do you get it?
- EA_Aljo6 years ago
Community Manager
I understand what you're saying, but lower-rated players aren't skating or passing better than higher-rated players. Again, if this is how you feel, please try swapping out your players for base golds and see what happens.

@EA_Aljo
After 5 losses in a row with mixed teams (83 and 91), I was relegated to lower division and played 6 games straight wins. Every opponent with equal team. What the hell... - EA_Aljo6 years ago

Lower divisions typically have people with lower skill than the higher divisions. Which would explain why you did better there than in the division you got relegated from.
That's obvious. That's not why we're here.
THERE IS something with this game, that low ping <10ms and mixed team of 82-84 players with 90-92 can defeat you easily.
What gets this advantage and makes the game UNEVEN:
- low ping
- mix of weak gold card players with 89-92
results of this:
- opponent's team gets easy scoring chances, D gets crazy, goes of the slot leaving attackers alone for tip in- G (mine 89) plays like he was 60-62, lets most of the shots, doesn't react and move
- opponent's team scores even from the blue line covered (82 Ekblad slapper, yeaaah) easily going around D 88-91 players
- more than regular contact with other player end up in the sin bin and it's way more difficult to win fights
- 2on0 on a breakaway is a disaster, the loose attacker goes to fast behind the net (with crash the net or other strategy) or stays low not willing to be on breakaway
- if opponent doesn't make stupid mistakes it is almost impossible to get chances for a goal
This ❤️❤️❤️❤️ repeats OVER AND OVER in every single game with these aspects. It's not one-two game thing it's happening all the time.
EA, it's confirmed facts, we see PATTERN. Will anybody competent deal with it? We have enough of telling us "there's no tilt, script, whatsoever", blah blah blah. It's not a solution. Work with us!

After seeing your videos, I'm inclined to believe it's due to your aggressive style of play. That's fine if you want to play that way, but it also means you're susceptible to breakaways and open lanes for good shots/passes. There is nothing built into the game that forces a lower-rated team to beat a higher rated one. Once again, if this is something you believe exists, try playing with a silver, bronze or base gold players and see what happens. There absolutely is no ice tilt. It doesn't exist.
after watching so many of my matches you got that my problem is too aggressive playing? OK, I may lost 4-5 goals like that, but there were other situations.
I wrote like 10 times that to get what is the problem you'd need to watch the full picture of the game, not lost goals after breakaways.
Sorry to say that but you're not helping too much.

I'm really not seeing anything I can help with as there is no noticeable delay. Also, nothing is built in to the game to force one side to play slower than the other.
If you are willing to help, you should get through some threads stating the tilt is real or similar subject. There's tons of content there. Aren't you willing? You keep saying there's no advantage for weaker players, but THERE IS, we can see it, we debate it here and there. We all are delusional, drunk or crazy? 🥳 So either you don't know the game, can't see the problem because of it or you're telling us what's not truth because of sth.
Maybe there's something in game, you're not getting completely or is new to you. Is there any other development of the game tech here? Who can tell why 83-85 D is rock solid against 90-92 attack, but 89-91 D isn't and why mixed teams of 82-85 and 88-92 players get something like a boost while playing with way better team (or the better team gets slower, pass 60% and has low scoring %).

I assure you this is not new to me. I have been talking to the community about ice tilt for several years now. It simply does not exist. No way, no how. Your wins are not given to you because the computer thinks you're going to quit playing if you lose.
haha, it's nice you keep it cool man. There's a problem but you can't identify it. Whether it is a problem with the difference in pings or something else. If I were in your position/job, I'd be dying to find out what the heck is up with that
- EA_Aljo6 years ago
Community Manager
I have looked into it. I've had many conversations with the dev team about this. It simply does not exist. Not in any form whatsoever.
what does not exist? Tilt or this weird speed advantage we all experiance?
- EA_Aljo6 years ago
Community Manager
I don't experience any speed advantage and many other players have mentioned they don't experience it as well.
I have repeatedly said now that there is no ice tilt. There is no speed advantage given to one team over the other. There is no artificial momentum. The computer is not forcing you to win when it wants you to.
We all know that you haven't experianced that. You said it loud and clear.
There's a problem. Definately. We have a problem

no problem! Any time!
We're waiting for the solution to have even game, sir. If you have any ideas how to solve this problem, don't hesitate and write here. If you There're some people watching the thread that I know of. This thread is for a reason - we all love hockey, we want to enjoy this game as much as possible.
There's some weird thing in matching teams where one with overall 90-92 BUT with 82-84 players gets visual advantage of speed, shot acc and save %. I played with a team like that and had FLAWLESS wins with guys full of 93-97 players. It really works 😃 sometimes you'll get defeated but it happens not often (of course if you play on decent level).
THERE'S NO POINT in buying packs, seriously :D unless you don't have anything to do at home in coronavirus era. So, to sum up...
OFFENSE
- get 2 very good lines (esp with high poise rating) 91-92, if it's possible
- 3rd weaker 89-90
- 4th 86-87
DEFENSE
- 1st 92-93
- 91-92
- 82-84
GOALIE - the bigger the better, Bishop, Marksman or Price, and you're set
PS some Fins were laughing at me for trying to hard to win, THERE ARE OTHER WAYS fellows!
