Stuck on "select team" menu on HUT

Product: NHL 20
Platform:Microsoft XBOX One
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not 100% sure but starting the game, going directly to HUT starting a game doesn't really feel to matter in which mode. At time when you have to "choose side" it seems that none of the buttons have any effect.
What happens when the bug occurs? You can't do anything else than add extra players to your team or use xbox dashboard button. Can't get in the game or out from it you are stuck at the menu where you have to click your team to start "find game".
What do you expect to see? To get to game without the need of hard resetting the game.
Was the issue in online or offline mode? Online
Insert Game Mode or Feature here Both in Online and Offline games around 8-18% of the times bit hard to say. But on Hockey Ultimate Team mode.
What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM) Around the clock many times on different dates.
What is your time zone? EET (ART) - GMT + 2:00

Only way to get off when i'm stuck at the selection screen is to hard reset the game by going to Xbox dashboard and selecting other game then waiting for it to start and then going back to NHL2020. Most of the times this works and fixes the bug but 10% of the times this happen my solution won't fix it and might require more tries to hard reset the game. Even hard resetting the console doesn't always help fixing the issue like today when i tried to do daily HUT challenge. Such a thing has occurred before but normally when this bug happens hard resetting the game only once helps to solve it. It seems to only happen at the first time when you start the console if you've been playing HUT and already played games this bug won't come up its only the first game and doesn't matter which game mode on HUT.

    Odd performance issue you're experiencing here. You said you can alleviate some of that with a power cycle. Have you tried reinstalling the game yet to see if that helps? HUT progress is saved to our servers so you don't have to worry about losing it.

    If you have anything plugged into the USB slow try removing that too. If you're using an external hard drive, let me know.
