Takeaways in be a pro mode

I can't get any takeaways in be a pro mode i can poke check the puck away and steal it or stick lift and steal it and even hit someone and steal the puck and i am never credited with any takeaways its very disappointing to try to steal the puck and not get any takeaways. is there any way that anyone knows how to get takeaways in be a pro mode or is it something EA needs to fix
