I tried using a default one and my game still crashes....
There was a problem with WoC yesterday that could have been causing this. Are you still unable to play?

I’m still running into this issue. Also tried using a default gamer pic and still didn’t get me past the loading screen

Can you try changing the gear your player is using? Possibly an item that has been equipped is causing this to happen.

Ended up hard restarting my Xbox. Having the default gamer pic worked. I didn’t have the image asset on my Xbox and had connected it to my account on a previous Xbox. Figured I’d provide more context for devs trying to fix this. However it’s really sad that having a custom gamer pic could make the game unplayable.

When I ran I to my issue it was because I had set my custom gamerpic through the (then) beta version of the Xbox app on Windows10. It's frustrating but that's a pretty obscure bug to test for.

Hi,
Im having the same problem with Threes Eliminator in World of Chel. Just sits at the matchmaking screen endlessly. My player avatar was stock but changed it anyway. Also did a hard reset.
the only time I could get it to work was when I joined a friends party as part of his club.
I keep getting a network connection issue from EA. everything seems to connect and online versus works just fine.

Hello, @pjohnson13.
Can you also try power cycling your modem and router? If you have a modem/router combo unit, then you just have the one device to unplug. However, when you do this you should also hard restart your console again. Can you try that and let me know if it helps?

Alright I have a router/modem combo and did the hard reset. Then did a hard reset and unplugged the cables on ps4 then did another reset from safe menu. Still unable to join a 3’s eliminator game.
still getting this screen although other modes in nhl and other online games are working.

So far, the only solution we know for this is changing your gamerpic. You might want to try another and make sure it's a default image. You also could try opening the ports for NHL.
