Why have they have removed the basic ability to edit players in Franchise mode?

Im still so confused as to how this is still an issue. Literally every sports game has this ability in franchise and the NHL series had it too up until they added the chemistry system and completely ...

Attention, Franchise & Season players:

This is an important request.

Please list all attributes in game you want to be able to edit. If possible, list them with your highest requests first.

Example:

  1. Ratings (slider for attributes)
  2. Stick hand 
  3. Position
  4. etc
  5. etc

general player information (height, weight, (secondary) position, player type)
attributes (all of them, none are superior or inferior)
potential
appearance of current players (aware of possible rights issue)
name/nationality/appearance of created players
player shot side
contract

essentially, the edit player from the main menu roster editing section
