Why have they have removed the basic ability to edit players in Franchise mode?

Im still so confused as to how this is still an issue. Literally every sports game has this ability in franchise and the NHL series had it too up until they added the chemistry system and completely ...

@EA_Blueberry Thanks for looking into this Blueberry… also I want to point out that it is VERY VERY important that we can still access the ability to edit the players… during any point in a Franchise Mode play through…
As for the reasoning why it was taken away.. I still do not know… but all of us gamers have stressed the importance of it… all sport games have it.. it’s how WE want to play the game.. it creates a better experience for us… if it’s about being able to “cheese” the game into being easy… who cares.. some people like it that way.. some people don’t.. there are lots of people who are hardcore dedicated that keep spreadsheets on their players.. self impose rules to workaround the bad trading system.. etc.. so I really hope they realize and understand that something like this (fully able to edit players throughout play through) is very important…

Realistically, everything we are able to edit outside of franchise mode we should be able to edit inside of franchise mode. 

 

I understand there may be limitations to real life players, but for cpu generated players, nothing should be off limits including name, height and weight. If we can’t edit these, then the system needs to be updated where player attributes match types, names match country of origin and young players grow physically.
