Winter classic nhl

Can we bring the winter classic gameplay back to nhl. Outdoor is great in ones and all. But previous nhl games had actual pond hockey where it looked like you were legit playing on a pond and I miss ...

    Hi there, @Tywill90.

    I'd love to see the Winter Classic return. It's always possible. A lot of work went into that mode and it didn't really get played that much. It would be fantastic to have though. Especially in Franchise Mode.

    For the life of me, I can't recall having a pond in a previous EA NHL game. I believe there was a pond in NHL Hitz though. Maybe even Rock the Rink? Wow. That's an old one.

Please please please add the Winter Classic into franchise or as a quick play option with any teams. I play quick play with my friends all the time and we’d definitely choose to play in a winter classic game over the normal arenas. I think the original game mode wasn’t that popular because you could only play as the teams that were in the winter classic that season. If you could choose any matchup it would be popular.
