World of CHEL Name Error

I definitely understand the frustration of not being able to use your name. Unfortunately, I don't see this changing though as that word needs to be censored. I'm very sorry. I know you have good intentions, but many others would use this in an offensive way.

We definitely hate to see you and your friends not play because your names aren't in the game, but we aren't able to make an exception. I'm very sorry for the disappointment here ☹️

The name "Garbutt" in no way is offensive no matter the way you look at it, it is literally the last name of half my family as it has been for centuries. The Cowtown Crow Milkers & the Garbutt Brothers have over 500+ games logged on NHL 19 & 20 respectively using the name Garbutt with no issues regarding anybody being offended. Garbutt is a popular surname in the UK. The lore of the Garbutt brothers & Cowtown go deeper than any video game could ever write for you & there is simply no way to continue the Garbutt story, the lore, and content creation without the "Garbutt" name. I understand this must be in effort to reduce online toxicity but this is simply a coding mistake.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Remove the censorship of the name "Shore". You can have the announcers say "Shore" and the word "shore" appears in the game when selecting it, however you cannot put it on the jersey of your created character because ever since the NHL 21 Beta it gets censored. I have been honoring Eddie Shore for many years and now your censor improperly does not allow it.
What happens when the bug occurs? Every time I try to put Shore on the back of a jersey.

Should not be censored for wanting to use "Shore" on the back of my jersey in honor of Eddie Shore.  His name is in the game.  The announcers say it.  You see Shore when you select it for the announcers to use it for your character.  This should not be censored as it is not abuse.

Yeah the censor can be quite sensitive now; hopefully this gets resolved soon

So yes, my player name has always been ”FIN SeRe”. FIN works on the first name but SeRe doesn’t. It’s not huge thing but annoys me a lot since it would be extremely nice to play with the player name I have always played with in EASHL.
