Sorry if you felt my response was insulting, it was certainly not meant that way.
When playing online there are three entities involved: you, your opponent and us. The only one of these you have any control over is your own connection so that is why I posted those steps so you can do what you can to make sure you are not the weak link in the chain.
I thank you for your response. Its been a extremely frustrating year for this game / series for me tho. There are MANY single player (offline / single player season in hut) bugs and glitches and any attempt made to voice these issues has fallen on deaf ears or I've been given a response such as "If I'm loosing games i need to change the way I play" directing the issues back on me and others as I've seen. Theres a infamous one now, where you body check a player and are unable to pick the puck up after (offline only once again) and I've seen your reps get people to post the video countless times from countless users but the problem still isn't either fixed, or atleast us being told "were gonna do everything we can to fix it". As I said being ignored by the company of a product you love is just very angering and boils over after awhile of going unnoticed.
Fyi most of these issues that have fallen on deaf ears / videos being posted have all been on the facebook EA page. If the page doesnt actually have a connection to fixing / working out issues yall should def look into some of the issues posted that just go ignored or mis-placed daily
