can't download battlefield 3 in origin

Hi @dantetas, 

If you haven't already can you try clearing out the Origin cache to see if that helps at all? If there's a problem with the client's cached data that's preventing BF3 from downloading that might help fix it. For more information on how to clear it check out the EA Help website. Let me know how that goes once you've had the chance to give it a shot.

When you have a chance I'd recommend getting in touch with the EA Help team so they can pull up your account and take a look. There may be something on the account side that's preventing Origin from seeing that you own BF3.

Hey man,

Just had the same problem. I tried emptying the cache, uninstalled Origin, rebooting and nothing worked. Then I went back to the BF3 details on Origin and clicked on the Extra content tab. I clicked Download on one of the available expension pack and this then prompt the Download window with BF3 and all the expension pack (that you can add or remove with the checkboxes).

This was my workaround to get the download going. You should try it out as I had the exact same issue as you. Hope this works out for you 🙂 

Thanks for this.  Been having this problem for the past few days.  Just bought a new PC after being away from PC gaming for a few years and went and tried to download BF3 and was having this issue.  This seems to have done the trick.

Yesterday I did a lot of experiments but it didn't work for me
But the game appeared again for download and then disappeared
The game has been in my account since 2016
