I just went to walmart yesterday and purchased a "digital download" sims 4 seasons card. I tried doing the exact steps. This however did not work. It keeps saying its a giftcard (its not) and its already reedemed. Can someone please help? I spent $40 of my own money on this which ive been waiting to get since it came out. ( a long time)
@EmmuhKate06 Sorry that no one responded to you sooner. I don't know for sure, since I can't see your card, but you might in fact have an EA cash or gift card, rather than a code for Seasons specifically. When I bought a cash card a couple of months ago, I noticed that they came in several different flavors: plain orange, plus ones with themes from games like Sims 4 and Battlefield. But I those cards didn't provide codes for the actual games, just the money to buy them.
So what I would suggest is that you sign into Origin, then click to buy Seasons. You'll get a prompt to choose the manner of purchase. Click the tab that says EA Wallet, and see if you have a balance that you can apply to the purchase.
If this doesn't work, then you'll need to contact EA customer support. It would be helpful if you had photos of the card and the receipt from Walmart to show the support rep as well.
