How do you make a desktop shortcut?
I have installed a game and didnt click on the tick to install shortcut for the game.. (stupid mistake)how do i get a shortcut on the desktop so i can access compalibility settings?

@EA_Jason We're talking about the ORIGIN launcher for PC ( which has bright orange UI and has been out for like, 10 years now?) not the EA App, of which I've never even heard of until you've mentioned it just now. The forum is Origin -> Origin Client support.

EA SPORTS FC™ TeamYou're absolutely right, I was so used to being on the EA Desktop forums (where this is a frequent request) that I forgot that I was on the Origin forums. My apologies.
The only way currently to create a shortcut on your desktop is choosing to create a desktop shortcut when you download/install the game and via the .exe file. In all honesty I don't see this option coming to Origin as we're now working on EA Desktop.
I don't understand why not. No disrespect to you personally, but as for the company: we're talking about like two lines of code... This could be done in 5 minutes and its been over 7 years.
Clearly this is a feature the vast majority of users want and expect to find (being such a basic thing we've grown used to in nearly every similar program over decades of computer use), but EA is unwilling to do this for their players (I wouldn't insult them by saying they are "unable" to do such a simple thing), just goes to show what the average player thinks anyway: EA only cares about their money, not their experience.The fact that this simple feature wont be added is absurd. The new app sucks and won't even load most days. How stupid are you people? At this point I really hope you all go under and the IP get bought by a competent game developers. * EA and everyone who works there.

We do understand that this is a huge project, and by adding the ability to 1 click short-cut of game we want is really hard.
Please do request from ur team leader, team manager, team director and CCO, CEO, CFO for more staffs to work on this.
An estimation of suffice would be 5982342 employee and around 827 years more till completion. Otherwise the rest of the world have to wait for another 250,000 years.
