Community ManagerIt seems like for you it is the combination of the letters E and A together that is the issue.
Just created an account here & was unable to use my standard "eastdragon42" username that I use for all my games...& it seems what you said is correct. The dumb system doesn't seem to allow "ea" to appear anywhere in the username at all... :-( Very restrictive & unnecessary filter, IMHO. I can understand trying to prevent offensive usernames, but there's nothing the least bit offensive about "eastdragon42".
Also, if EA is worried about users being confused with staff, then make the usernames case sensitive & prevent me from registering something like "EA_stdragon42". But don't just blanket prevent *ALL* usernames that have the letters "e" & "a" next to each other...!!
