Nickname is occupied but does not show up in search engine

Hi! I found a trouble with switching nickname, and ive stumbled upon some issues ill explain below
I wanted to switch my nickname from "MrDeadsnake" to "deadsnake", obviously nickname is occupied. My thought process was that if i add this person, maybe we can work this out and i can get nickname i want. However, when I was trying to find this user in origin, it doesnt show up (it shows only variations like "deadsnake08" etc.). I thought perhaps this person is banned/account is inactive or something - i cant know this, so i reached to customer support to figure out what my options are. Ultimately, first guy from customer service told me that theres an option to hide yourself from search engine and thats it, at first i thought that it could be an answer, and ended conversation, however after that i found out that theres no such option (or maybe im blind, but i scrolled through everything and didnt find such thing). After that I contacted the customer support again, describing the same issue again, and stating that this person doesnt show up in search engine - they instantly told me that we cannot discuss it since its others user privacy etc etc. I asked them how can I hide myself from search engine the way that guy did - and they started throwing absolutely irrelevant solutions on Family control options, Restricted access and how to turn off origin ingame (LOL). At the end they suggested to put this question here, so thats what im doing.

Ultimately, my goal is to either get a nickname, or an opportunity to reach out to that person and see if i can work around this with him directly. Other than that, suggestions on why his nickname doesnt show up (or how can i actually add him) are more than welcome.
