Hey @svckscompleteea when posting on AHQ please do so in a polite and constructive manner.
As I said above, I understand the issue and what you did. The login verification emails are automated, if you are not receiving them and our live support team has advised you that there is nothing more that they can do then you will need to speak with your email provider.

That is also ultimately unhelpful. I get that the login emails are automated. But what sort of deliverability rates do you get? What logging do you have that an email has been sent. Can you see whether it's been received by the destination mail server? Or do you just assume that it all works?
I get that you're trying to help, and I'm frustrated that you can't see how obviously the issue is at EA's end. (I code this sort of stuff as a living, so it's very obvious to me)
But at least you're a real human. Try getting in touch with someone at google and see how far you'd get. Also, it'll be just as obvious to them that it's an issue at EA's end. So I won't even try that avenue. But when you keep going on about contacting the email provider, even though I'm giving more than enough evidence to show that I've proven that the email provider is incredibly unlikely to be at fault in this case. Two EA accounts going to the same email provider/email account mean that one of those accounts has an issue with it.
We could change that account to point to another email provider. It still won't send verification codes, I'm sure.
I mean, the helpdesk person could send an email to me because they're not using EA's identity server to do so. But EA's identity server couldn't. Same email address... You can tell me it's the email provider's fault over and over again, but you'd be completely wrong.
Thanks for trying, but I guess you just don't have the technical skillset to recognise the issue or diagnose faults? I spent a frustrating evening with EA online help whose only real suggestion was to change the email address. But that account is still broken somehow.
Overall though, it just makes me completely not trust EA, or Origin if this can happen. I know so many gamers who have had issues with EA/Origin accounts.
Looks like I'm having the same issue as:

Hey @svckscompleteea as I said above, I understand that you are frustrated but if this was an issue on EA's end we would be seeing dozens if not thousands of posts related to this. Even some of the threads you linked to are about specific times there was an issue on the EA end, this time only you are having the issue. I've seen this pop up a lot and almost always it's a system, network or email issue.

I'm not saying it's not just me. Just that EA are known to have issues in the past, and are a little slow at recognising they need fixing too. And that this isn't an unknown issue.
It could actually be just my account. That would still be just as valid though.
I could log in with username and password, but it always wanted a verification code, even though I didn't have 2FA set up on that account.
It acted as though I had authenticator set up, but was telling me it had sent an email when it hadn't. (and no emails ever arrived, so it's not like gmail were quarantining or delaying them)
That was why I'd asked you about logging (which you didn't answer anything about... I'm guessing EA don't have much logging then)
But creating another account on EA works a treat. I just lose access to my games and friends. But at least the other account will actually send emails to the same email account with the same email provider. That proves my email account is fine, and that EA is capable of sending emails... but for some reason, my main EA account is just declining to do so.
Very sucky, and not really a good resolution. But seeing as nobody there will actually help, it's all I'm able to do. ☹️

Okay.. Maybe you can work this out.
Main account was emailA - wouldn't send verification codes.
I create a second account, and point that to emailB (which is just an alias to emailA). second account can send verification codes which gmail gets within a second or two.
Helpdesk changes email address of Main account so it has a dot in it. (gmail ignores dots - so it's still the same mailbox). Still can't send verification codes.
I alter second account, so it now the same address as emailA, no longer an alias. second account can send verification codes to original email address.
So it's unrelated to the email address, or email provider. We've taken that completely out of the equation.
I don't know how much clearer that can be. It is something wrong with the config of that specific account (my main account). I don't know how it happened... but it's broken on EA's side.
Surely you can see that?

Hey @svckscompleteea I'm going to lock this thread as we are going around in circles.
For any issues related to an account you will need to speak with our live support team.
