Orgin not allowing downloads

I have been trying to play sims but every time I get a message that says that I need to allow a download but then I get a pop-up that says that my download failed. I also get a message telling me that windows blocked my ability to download sims but I don't have windows since I'm on a Mac book.. I've tried repairing my game and changing my settings. If anyone knows how to fix these, please tell me.
