Origin error when trying to connect Origin + Epic accounts

I have exactly the same problem, I created a support request, but I was not answered for two days. didn't you find a solution?

I've had no reply from EA yet on this.  I also messaged Epic and they asked for a screenshot of the error Origin shows that I already described, which I sent yesterday and nothing back again from them as yet.

Epic have got back to me now and said they cannot do anything as its EA's problem to fix in the Origin launcher.

So I guess we have to wait until EA responds now.

terrible tech support, pay for the game and can't even download it for 3+ days =(

It sucks but it is the holidays I guess.  Hopefully EA looks into this soon.  Attached is a screenshot of the error if it helps them.  It seems they have had _different_ problems with this since October: https://twitter.com/epicgames/status/1311905592202743808?lang=en (Looks different from the problem we are seeing).

any updates? the support answers me with some kind of garbage, they don't seem to find my epic account

I click on 'select contact option' and the page just gets stuck with a circular loading icon spinning :-(

I managed to finally get through to live chat with EA support.  Who I linked to this thread and also sent the screenshot to.

They told me they have forwarded this problem to someone internally, and I should wait to hear back from them within the next few days.

Do you have any news? technical support still cannot answer me anything concrete. = (

Still no news from EA.  I received I think what was an automatic survey email from Epic asking if they had solved my problem - to which I replied they had not and I am not happy I still cannot play a game I bought from their store.

Nothing back from EA after their support chat guy said they would get on it.  I will give them until tomorrow, else try the EA support chat again :-(
