Origin High CPU usage

Hey guys, I have a problem with my Origin running with high CPU. This happened quite some time ago and usually fixed with a restart of the Origin launcher but now nothing works. I get 35-40% of CP...

    @TamaskanHusky Hi,

    Start the game, tab out, and then click on Origin (top left corner) and open the application settings. Just leave that window open in the background and tab back to your game.

    The CPU usage should now drop to a normal level.

    Let me know how you get on.

If you download process explorer.

And double click on the origin process

a new window will open

this will allow you to manage the threads

You will see Qt5Core.dll for each game update, if origin has downloaded or updated 5 games, there there will be 5 of these threads each runing 9% of your cpu.

these stack up eventually driving your CPU to the max

Just kill these threads, origin will still function as intended.  |Its supposed to kill these threads once its completed verifying each game. but it dosnt

@rdalcroft my computer was gong nuts and just figured out it was Origin using all of the CPU. It is an insane problem to have lasted so long I deleted Origin and will never use it again. What a piece of junk.
