Origin is incorrectly reading my hard drive space

I have 200gb of free space, but Origin gives me the "Your computer does not have enough space available to download this game. Please free up some space on your hard drive and try downloading again."...

    found a solution

    From the Start menu, select Computer.
    Select the C: drive.
    Select the ProgramData folder. If this folder does not appear, press Alt, select Tools, then Folder Options. Select the View tab, then check Show hidden files, folders, and drives.
    Right-click the Origin folder and select Delete.

    Make sure that u have enough free space on disk with temp system/user folder (u can check it by Win+r, write cmd /k set t and press enter) and you must have the appropriate permissions to this folder.. Can't tell what is "free space" mean, its depending what kind content will be installed, in some cases u need almost the same "temp space" as it for the full game...

    I don't think your link is going to the site where we can submit an error report.  I am also having this issue.  I have also submitted an error report through the link displayed on the pop-up that says my designated hard disk is full. 

    I have not been able to play the Witcher 3.  In fact, the "Hard Drive is Full" messages keeps popping up so I cannot select any game in my library to play ☹️

    So far this mainly seems to be a problem with DLC, and I've seen many of the instances being for Dead Space 3 and in some cases the Witcher 3. I already sent in a report a few days ago (but lost track of the ID number) so I submitted a new one.

      Same problem. Followed all tips in thread. Nothing. I can't download any TW3 DLCs. I'm so pissed.

        Seriously when will EA sort out their problems... I am honestly thinking of going to CDkeys and buying TW3 goty because it's nearly the same price as Origin.... I am actually kicking my because if I looked on CDkeys first and got it from there I wouldn't be spending so much time on EAs forum trying to figure out how to fix EAs problems.

        What is the point of getting the goty of I can't get the Rest of the add-ons because EA can't sort out this issue of the storage..... We sent our report IDs and nothing has been done about it.... Yet alone nothing has been done about the external storage problem. 

        EA is the biggest mistake ever seriously 🙄😒

      @EA_Darko Is there an eta on the permanent fix? If you have defined the source of the issue, then how close are you to solving it? Have you completed testing? How will it be rolled out? It helps when you give your customers more than "As I said" and "we'll let you know" You wouldn't communicate to an internal department like this. Why do we have to be left waiting in the dark?
