Just started having this issue yesterday where origin is stuck at the "connecting to Origin" screen once it's first opened. It'll just sit there and load nonstop.
My mac book is too old to move to the EA app and I don't have this issue with other game launchers like steam. Is there any possible way I can fix this? Is there a way to contact EA for help?
Having the exact same problem ☹️ have tried running first aid through disk repair, clearing cache, toggling on and off login verification through EA's website and nothing seems to be working

Origin won't work it just show a white square that says Connecting to origin... It was just working last night does anyone know how to fix it I've tried to delete and reinstall but nothing work.
@mayrav420 I've merged your post with another thread about the same or a similar issue. Please try the suggestions in my previous post.
have also tried
- a clean uninstall and reinstall
- making sure no proxies are enabled
- connecting a different network
- launching the app in safe mode (issue still persists).
- creating a new user
spoke to an EA agent who said it isn't a server issue. not sure what else to try. I thought older Mac users have until April 2025 to keep using the app?
@Lenny31098 Did you try all of these together, at least a clean uninstall plus a reinstall in a new user account while on a different network? And was this truly a different network? Probably, from the sound of it, but I just want to make sure you didn't for example use your phone while it was still connected to your home wifi.
What version of macOS do you run, and what are the full specs of your Mac? Please list everything under About This Mac except for the serial number.
That also goes for anyone else in this thread for whom the other suggestions here don't help.
Did anyone find a fix for the problem? I just go it too :/
