there are many other things that can bring a game down, many forget to check original support place at a pc, that drivers and BioS is update, and even check windows event viewer why does a program crash.
and with all the security on our pc even that has been seen to change over the many years, and most of them dont even ask User anymore they
have simple overule users input, this also leed to program fail,
some basic tips i have learn is if game was made for windows7+ then almost 100% of them dont require and special settings, ( this only fails is system core settings has been change like administrator rights and such again all those problem go away after reinstall OS win7 to win10 )
but i bet there is always a program a user can struggle with and it could be the choises he did or program itself not work as it should is also possible. but DA has always worked for me ( again this game is old and well tested and have been patch so only ingame minor bug can happend dont think there its even possible to make a 100% working game ever there will always be a user with a bug until its figure out )
also provide dxdiag to a EA Support for better help sometimes they can ID what user is struggle with.
not sure anyone can help you with comment on your reply its all good advice and check ups then all fails its only matter of then doing them in right order.. system check will be last ( SFC ) many dont find any issue at all there, i mean if you do find issue there, it can already be to late, how many other things has been effect by this, even seen post with run it several times to fix it, as repeting things should make it better.
and if you need help say so, it look more like a possible guide you trying to make, only advice i can give here, dont explan action for people
let people themself judge the action you already provide.
most users already know consequences of choises, and what prevent them from google it. ( only very deep knowledge that is not simple require that. ) again that only IMO. you do what you think is best.
