Greetings all,

I can confirm that this works. For anyone using Geforce Now still receiving the 'Too many computers..." error, simply login to your EA account, navigate to "Security" tab and click on "Login Verification". Choose email, phone number etc.. EA will send you a verification code to your communication option of choice. Enter this code in the box. Once complete and verified, login through Geforce Now again with your account, it will ask you to verify again via your choice (Email, phone etc..) Enter the next code, and you should have no problems.

The issue is GeForce Now logs each session as a virtual computer in a different location each login, which Origin/EA flags as suspicious. No need to wait 24 hours with this method though 🙂

As a note: You will have to re-verify each login! this will not permanently fix the problem or allow you to fluidly pass through the Origin login process when playing Apex Legends. However, it is a temporary workaround. Also, it is possible you will have to occasionally login to your EA account, navigate to "security" and under trusted devices, choose remove trusted devices. EA/Origin, please fix this issue regarding GeForce Now compatibility.

    @RiverJim69 Don’t forget to mention that you have to remove all previous trusted devices from the list in the security settings as well.

    @RiverJim69 Thanks for your feedback. I am facing the same error. Once I solved it your way, but when I started the game immediately after closing the game, I got the same error again. So, I removed the two-factor authentication once and registered a new one, and I was removed trusted devices, but the same error could not be resolved. If you know other methods, could you please tell me?

    @jelaime07 I am not sure why it's not working for you. I haven't had any problems logging in and out. I'm curious, did you use a phone number as your two-factor authentication? I'm not sure why it should matter but I set mine up to be the same email I login to Origin with.

    @RiverJim69Thank you for your reply! I used a Google authentication app for two-factor authentication. Switching to email authentication as you say, I'm gone with login and logout issues! ! ! Your advice was helpful to me. However, at this point, I have only checked login and logout twice, so I don't know if it has solved the problem, so I wanna verify it again. I wanna report immediately.

    @jelaime07 No problem, that's great. So as an update, I actually got the same message again after about 15-20 logins and nothing I've tried so far has worked to fix it. I tried switching to the Google authentication app with no luck. I also realized I was leaving the "remember this device" box checked while logging in, so it kept adding more devices to my "trusted devices" list. @AmphyKD Follow the previously stated steps and make sure to leave this box unchecked each login. Also, if you are locked out, don't attempt to sign in over and over again, you have to wait the full 24 hours. However, you can always make a new account following the same guidelines in order to play while you wait. It sucks I know, but right now it's the only way to play if you're locked out. ☹️ Hope this helps everyone

    @RiverJim69 Thanks to you, I can play games happily. I was also paying attention to the "remember this device" box. I understand why "reliable devices" are not increasing. Thank you.

    1. Logout from all Origin(EA) sites
    2. Remove all trusted devices from the EA account settings on the Security tab
    3. Make sure to set two-step verification to "Email" on the Security tab from the EA account
    4. Leave the "remember this device" box checked while logging in every time

    EA, how long will it take until you fix this bug?

    I pay money to your game and can't play it. Perfect.

    I have done everything listed: enabled my security verification, navigated to and removed all trusted devices, restarted Nvidia Now, reentered my security code, and still get the same error.

    I've spoken over the phone with EA Customer Support, and they cannot remove the lock-out, and have said they do not have a fix for the issue at the moment. They mentioned this would be a recurring problem and recommend not using Nvidia Now at the moment unless you're able to contact Nvidia and manage to lock your account to one device. However I do not know if that is possible. EA is in no way partnered with Nvidia, therefore resolving this issue doesn't seem like a priority to them, as it seems to fall more on the side on Nvidia.

    From the customer support's answer, it seems that this error will not be resolved soon. I can't help but unfortunately.

    For your two-factor authentication Are you choosing "Text Code" or "App Authenticator"? If you have selected one of the two, try to select "E-mail". And Leave the "remember this device" box checked while logging in every time

    I don't know why this is the solution, but in my environment this is the solution.

    1. Login to your EA account, navigate to "Security" tab and click on "Login Verification". Choose email, phone number or Google authentication.. EA will send you a verification code to your communication option of your choice. Complete the login verification process.
    2. Under "Security" in your EA account, select "remove trusted device" next to each computer in the list. Come back and check on this occasionally and delete each virtual computer in the list, if necessary.
    3. **If you have already received the "too many computers have attempted to access..." error, you have to wait the full 24 hours to attempt another login on that account.**
    4. In the meantime, create another EA/Origin account. This will allow you to play while you wait the full 24 hours for your main account to be cleared for login. Follow the same procedures with this account.
    5. Remember, each time you login do not check the "trust this device" box or the "remember this device" box on the subsequent login verification screen, i.e when you are asked to enter your verification code.
    6. Login through Geforce Now again with your account, it will ask you to verify again via your choice (Email, phone etc..) Enter the next code, and you should have no problems.

I have no problems cycling play between my main and backup accounts. If you need to, set a 24 hour timer each time you get the error, so that you don't attempt to login too early.

    @xXISpookIXxI also spoke to EA customer support and they claim the issue is with Nvidia, though I eventually convinced my tech support agent that it is in fact an EA/Origin issue. This is due to the nature of GeForce Now, and their use of virtual computer access, each login is technically a different machine ID. Origin sees the same account accessed on multiple devices in the 24 hour period and temporarily disables the account. Therefore, Origin/EA will have to adjust this rule somehow (or remove it entirely) in order to be fully compatible with GeForce Now. See my post above about cycling Apex play between two accounts in order to play while you wait. Hopefully they fix this issue soon.

    The problem is still there. Will it be fixed at all ? I can 't play the game! >_<

    THATS BS CAUSE I JUST DID EVERYTHING PUT PASSCODES IN RELOGGED IN TO EVERYTHING ON MY PC AND I ST5ILL CANNOT PLAY ANY GAMES EVEN GAMES THAT ARE NOT MULTIPLAYER I STREAM FOR A LIVING THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR 3 * WEEKS IF BITS NOT FIXED SOON THE NVIDIA * CARD WILL BE REPLACED WITH SOMETHING THATS NOT A POS AND ACTUALLY WORKS I PAID  $65OO FOR MY GAMING RIG $5500 FOR MY STREAMINGPC THAT IS NOY MEANT FOR GAMING MY STREAM PC HAS A RIP JAW HAVE HAD NO ISSUE THIS NVIDIA CARD OR WHATEVER THE IS ISSUE IS HAS BEEN THE BIGGEST HEADACHE DONT GET NVIDIA *!!! EVERYTIME I GO TO PLAY A GAME IT TAKES ME RIGHT6 BACK TO DESKTOP SAYS CONTACT EA BUT EA DOESNT KNOW A * FROM APPLESAUCE WHEN YOU NPUT AND SPEND HARD EARNED MONEY ON SOMETHING THIS EXSPENSIVE IT SHOULD * WORK NOT BE WORSE THE AN 92 VOLKSWAGGEN JETTA!
