Redeemed Code and Nothing happened
When i entered a product code for the Sims 4 high school year dlc, it told me to download it from the EA app, i went there logged in. Nothing happened. I tried entering it again but it's already been used by me. What do i do? I am certain its the account I use for Sims 4, and certain that i bought the dlc.711Views0likes28CommentsMy origin won't open and I don't know what to do.
For contact I have a MacBook Air Mojave version 10.14.6. Every time I try to open Origin to play the sims it gets stuck on the small rectangle loading screen. I've tried to download the restarter, but when I go to click on the link from an EA help page it says "Access denied". I've cleared my browser cache and restarted my laptop, Ive tried to repair it, and force quit. But I can't update my laptop because I don't have enough storage. nor can I download the EA app. Im currently trying to get an actual gaming laptop. But even if I do I don't know how to access my packs and stuff and switch it over to my new laptop, or onto the EA app. I don't wanna lose them and have it be a waste of time and money someone please help me.Shaae4 days agoRising Newcomer106Views0likes2CommentsEA Account credentials Expired
So a few months i logged onto Star Wars Battlefront 2 and was greeted with the message "Your account crediantls have expired, please reset your password". I changed my password several times but did not fix the issue. I then discovered that my Xbox Gamertag is linked to a different EA Account which i can't access. I've tried other email addresses that it could be linked to but they weren't correct so it must be under my old email address that was deleted 2 years ago. I've contacted EA several times and have now tried twice for the account recovery but i somehow got it wrong. I don't know what to do and while all this is happening, i'm unable to play any online EA game which is really annoying me. Anyone got any suggestions to how i could gain access to the account or get some information about it? ThanksSolved1.6KViews0likes9CommentsChild account issues - playing online and adding friends
This isn't even so much an issue as it is a really heated complaint. Seeing as how I'm afraid that if I have to talk to another person on the phone I might start shouting obscenities, I thought maybe putting something here - with the hopes that someone "in charge" might eventually see it and realize the absolute stupidity of how it works - would be somewhat therapeutic. Today we bought four Humble Bundles, paying just enough to get Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare. My kids (aged 5 and 8) had been watching videos of playthroughs of the game and thought it was fascinating, and we're always up for games we can play with our kids during their computer time, so why not? We didn't even care about the rest of the games - just that one. They were excited and so were we, so we went about making them two kid accounts on Origin. I saw the mention of limitations of social interactions but figured, hey, that's a good thing - and that like other games and systems, that we would perhaps be able to specify friends (many other games and online things like this allow parent accounts to set specifications and require them to approve friends or other interactions, which I'm fine with). We get the games installed and loaded up and lo and behold, we can't start games with them or interact with them from our parent accounts in any way, shape, or form. At all. Even a little. Frustrated, I contacted Origin help. The associate who called me informed me that there was no way to convert child accounts to "adult" accounts (something for you folks with older kids to remember, once they get older) and that they would indeed not be able to have ANY social interaction with others - including participating on the servers in PvZ, seeing or talking in chats, and adding friends of any type including our parent accounts. We cannot request they join games from our accounts, nor can they request such for us. Okay, frustrating enough on its own. I asked what the resolution was - and was informed that I would have to request a refund from Humble Bundle (which is backed up about three days apparently), then have their accounts deleted and remade and lie about their ages so that we can play with them. That, of course, has the side effect of leaving them open to being able to talk to people. (Luckily, we are diligent and monitor their online activity carefully, what little they are allowed.) I initially wanted to simply delete their accounts immediately but the representative insisted that they would have absolutely no access to online server games, and that they would not be able to see or participate in ANY chats in ANY game that was on their Origin account, so they were effectively safe - until then, wouldn't it be better if we kept their accounts and the games in them, and waited until Humble Bundle sent the refund to make new accounts for them? Fine. I agreed, because it seemed stupid to have gotten them excited about the game and then leave them not able to play it at all. The representative assured me that they would be in single-player games only and would not be able to play in any form of multiplayer game. I agreed based on that assurance and the call ended. My husband reaches over to the computer my older son is logged in on. Goes right into the servers no problem, joins a multiplayer game, and points at the chat - which is clearly visible. Thank you, EA. We now have paid for two copies of a game we cannot play with our children, that we will now have to seek to get a refund that we may not even be able to get because we HAD to redeem the codes in order to open the game to make Origin accounts to find out all of this wasn't even possible (HB says on their FAQ that they cannot refund bundles if you've already redeemed the code), and we have to wait likely a week or longer just to see if there's anything we can do. Until then, you've lied about whether or not our kids would have access to public servers and to online chats, and we're really, REALLY angry. I'm done with EA, which really bites, because I kind of loved The Sims. Ball's in your court, support staff. Who, exactly, is going to make this right - or at least TRY to help without lying baldfaced to us? ETA: Husband pointed out something I neglected to mention - we cannot log into their EA or Origin accounts from the website, and it's as if their accounts don't exist for that purpose (also via the representative I spoke to). So.. We can't do ANYTHING about their accounts. For reference, we were having trouble logging into the website and I figured it was us mistyping the password or something, so I sent a password change request and it still hasn't shown up to the child's email or mine. And yes, I have checked spam on both, and I know both were typed in right, because I have the confirmation email in my account. So let's discuss how helpful this isn't, too.SolvedAnonymous8 days ago47KViews20likes69CommentsCAN'T CREATE A NEW CASE!
After getting no response from EA regarding an account recovery, i have deciced to send and extra email, but got a response saying said email that you guys contacted me from(the one we have been exchanging emails from is no longer available, therefore i closed the case, wanting to create a new one instead. When i try to create a new case(Any possible one, this is the message that appears: Thank you for contacting us. We’d love to troubleshoot your issue and get you back in the game! To speed up that process, we need to talk to you on the phone. (No phone contacts available either) or No available channels, sorry. Why is this happening? Is this because of the Coronavirus situation?Solved3.7KViews0likes6CommentsBanned for no reason
I just bought FIFA for the first time and I log in and see that I’m banned. I check to see why I’m banned and there’s no reason under the reason tab. So my account is somehow banned for no reason. I made my account around last year where apex legends was still new ( i think). And played apex for a bit for a few days and never touch it again after that. Recently there was a sale on origin which took my interest and I decided to buy a few games on it. While I was at it I reinstall apex again to see what's new and since my friends started playing it again. Then I saw the "last played" thing on apex which is earlier this year (which is odd cause last time I played it is last year). And then when I play apex and tried to get into training it says my client is banned. So I went and change my password, add extra security thing. Then I file a case for the ban. After almost a week, I got reply from ea for the case saying Hello, We've noticed some unusual activity on your EA account. To help keep your account safe, we've locked it down until we can be sure you're the only person with access to it. During this period you will not be able to log in to your EA account or the online portions of our games. What this means Get in touch with us so we can help secure your account and check that no unauthorised changes have been made. Go to https://help.ea.com/contact-us/?product=origin&platform=pc&category=manage-my-account&issue=hacked-account and schedule a phone call or chat with one of our advisors. Better security starts with you. Follow our tips to set up your account securely, including turning on Login Verification: https://help.ea.com/help/account/how-to-maintain-account-security/ Remember, never share your EA Account login details with anyone. Thank you, EA Terms of Service I went and click the first link because I can't even log in to my origin to play other games like battlefield. And then it says It looks like your account, or the game account where you're trying to get help, broke our rules. You can review the rules in our article.https://help.ea.com/sg/article/information-about-banned-or-suspended-accounts Think your account was banned or suspended by mistake? We can create a case for you to get help with that instead. Now do I have to make another case and wait for another week? If I try to log in with my pc it will say "sign in is unavailable". Even in the browser. When I tried to log in with my phone, I can sign in, but it will say Your account has been disabled Your account has been blocked from this product due to a violation of EA’s User Agreement. An email regarding this was sent to the email address associated with this EA account. Please check your email for more details. If you need further assistance, please contact EA Help at help.ea.com. I checked my email and the only email I see is about the unusual activity as I've mentioned above. So now I didn't just got banned on apex for no reason, my origin account is banned and I can't even play the games that I recently just bought. It's not even a week since I purchase those games. So there goes my money. I seriously don't know what to do right now and this forum is the only place I know for getting help.Solved16KViews6likes19CommentsWhy have one account link/lifetime limit?
There's no shortage of people here discovering this issue trying to link our EA accounts that can be 10+ years old to our various accounts, especially with things like Xbox Gamepass. The community manager here is unable to help us beyond pointing us to the apparently also unhelpful support chat. I can understand it's a tough position for them, seeing these frustrated people and being unable to help. Can the message that this limit should be changed to something like 1 active account link or have a cooldown period between links get pushed up the corporate chain to someone that can help? I'll be annoyed if I can use my xbox account and EA account with the same Email address, come BF2042 time.Solved9.8KViews8likes12Commentswon't let me buy the for rent expansion pack

How do you create a support case? I browse to Contact us > Battlefield V > PC > Technical support > Game performance > Contact options, then i'm given this text, "Call EA Help Phone number: +1800978320 Talk to our advisors on the phone 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. UTC, Monday - Saturday, or on chat 24 hours a day, seven days a week. [I can provide documentation of all statements below] I haven't used EA games since August 2023. I was notified by my bank [BOA] that there was a $39.99 charge from EA/Origin. "PURCHASE 03/08 EA *ORIGIN.COM HELP.EA.COM CA " I promptly contacted EA/Origin to opt out. I was told it was a "Steam" issue. It is not, I have documentation from Steam verifying that fact. EA/Origin is firm saying they did not charge me [see bank quotes above] and I have the chat transcript to demonstrate their denial. I have filed fraud claims with my bank and the FCC [it is illegal NOT to provide an Opt Out option]. Anyone have similar problems? Resolved? I am going to be put in a position to close the BANK account so they don't hit me again. I cannot locate the charge on their website even though it processed through my bank. I will update this post after I upload all the documents with confidential data blocked to a web blog. EA does not have customer service.SaoirseMishler12 days agoNewcomer17Views0likes0CommentsCannot delete EA PLAY PRO version of Titanfall 2 from Origin game library
My EA account has purchased Titanfall 2 Deluxe Edition on Steam and Titanfall 2 Standard Edition on EA (as shown in Attachment1), and I am also a member of EA PLAY PRO. When I installed Titanfall 2 from Steam, the Origin client automatically upgraded the EA Titanfall 2 Standard Edition to Titanfall 2 Deluxe Edition. When I selected the Titanfall 2 Deluxe Edition icon on EA, I right-clicked it and there was an option to delete it from the game library (as shown in Attachment2). After clicking it, a dialogue option to delete only this game from the game library appeared (as shown in Attachment3). Following the prompts, the EA Titanfall 2 Deluxe Edition should be deleted from my game library, but nothing happened. Is this a bug in the program? Or is it supposed to be this way?aspirevvv15 days agoNew Novice21Views0likes1CommentMy account email is changed to @emlpro.com How do i change it?
My EA acc email was changed to @emlpro.com and I just bought FIFA 20 and I've just seen on my email it was changed last year in July 2019 when I used to play FIFA 19. I cannot refund the game as I bought it digitally and I cannot even play online on FIFA as I cant login to the EA Account which is really annoying. Also, due to the Corona Virus I am not able to contact EA as they have removed the Email I can use to contact them and no phone numbers work and neither does the Live Chat. I have waited to 9am UTC when they have said it would be open to call them. Can someone help me so I know what is going on with my acc and how I can get it back. It would be appreciated if someone left the Email, Phone and Live Chat link for Australia. The "Contact us" page just links me to the Answers HQ which does not help me. Has anyone been successful in unlinking or updating an account with an old email address? I bought battlefield 2042 and it won’t sign in, it said it’s been a while and I need to reset password. Problem is the account is linked to an old email that I don’t have access to anymore. And I’ve created multiple cases with no success in verifying my account. Even though I have provided them with all they have asked for (dob, IP, historical purchase of EA game, date and last 5 digits of CC, phone number). Something is not matching up and they won’t give me a clue. So there is literally nothing I can do to access EA account (linked to Xbox, I have a separate one for PS4) which will enable me to play the game. Any ideas or suggestions? Is there another way to unlink or even delete the EA account? ThanksSolved7.4KViews0likes13Comments
