Origin Not Loading Since Update
I saw the most recent sims update and opened my laptop to play, but Origin will not load. I am on stable, solid wifi, but Origin gets stuck "Connecting to Origin..." and will not go past this page. I cant get to the login page, the games page, or anything. Ive tried downloading the Origin installer and troubleshooter that i have seen in other forums but that also is getting stuck on the same popup and message. I have let it sit and load for an extremely long time and still nothing. I also checked in my system preferences on proxies and that also seems fine--I have none on. what can i do??? my sim is engaged i was planning her wedding D: :pizzymadrid1313 hours agoSeasoned Newcomer231Views3likes7CommentsEA Cricket for PS4
Dear Team, Please let us know when we may see the EA cricket for PS4 Regards, MakarandSolvedAnonymous2 days ago428Views0likes2CommentsAll my expansion packs are gone due to the switch to EA App
I am incredibly frustrated, I attempt to go on origin to play the sims 4 and it tells me the app no longer works, fine whatever I go to download origin again on my PC and it says I have to download EA app instead. I do that, make an account with EA and I go to get on the sims 4. It have all of my own games that I have saved, but none of my expansion packs are listed as purchased. I go to this forum where they still have not solved this issue regarding missing content and EA’s suggestion is to take screenshots of the purchased content on Origin to show that it’s been purchased, how am I supposed to do that when I cannot access Origin?! Am I supposed to go through years of online bank statements to prove I purchased content?! I did not want to switch from Origin to EA app, I did not want any of this frustrating * to happen I just wanted to play a game I have paid over $100 on and now I cannot play it as all of my expansion packs are gone. Just give us Origin back or at least reimburse me for my goddamn money I’m so sick of you * for driving prices up the wall and I refuse to re-buy content I’ve already paid for.Solved14KViews28likes8CommentsMy origin won't open and I don't know what to do.

But even if I do I don't know how to access my packs and stuff and switch it over to my new laptop, or onto the EA app. I don't wanna lose them and have it be a waste of time and money someone please help me.70Views0likes1CommentRefund for assasins Creed
Hi I bought Assassins Creed Odyssey through Origin but it is not running properly so I would like a refund since I cannot play it . I cannot find an email address or any useful contact information so I am posting this here, I would like a refund or credit to put it towards a game I can actually play. I don't understand why I cannot find this game anywhere on this website even though it is clearly in my past purchases on my account.Solved890Views0likes7CommentsEA not sending verification emails in 2021
I have been trying for days now to do the following on an existing, valid, working EA account: - add mobile for additional validation - add secondary email - authorise a child account as a parent All of these things require me to acknowledge a verification email that EA seem unable to send. I have been online with a support agent for over an hour (very helpful but ultimately unable to fix). They were able to send me validation emails for the support chat and the case details email but still the Verification Email process/server is not issues the one email that I actually need. it is clear this has been a longstanding issue so as directed I am logging this a a new instance of the issue instead of adding a comment to an old Instance. Please fix this, it really is unacceptable that this issue still exists after all this time.Solved21KViews8likes30CommentsEA contact us page Live chat and Phone call not working
Ive been trying to get in contact with ea for about 4 days now and all the times i was on the contact us site where it said it would give me an automated call or live chat window either bot bot found some unkown "error" or the live chat window never loaded. can i talk to a person please?1.2KViews0likes6CommentsWhy can't customers talk to the Terms of Service team?
After an account ban four months ago, I have been desperately trying to contact the Terms of Service team. At first, I made cases, as I was led to believe this was the best way to contact them. However, it was a rather robotic response, and it was as if they did not read what I had stated in the case description. Then I reached out through live chat, by making another case with another issue, (as you cannot contact an advisor through phone or live chat if your account is banned or suspended). In the live chat, I discovered that all the advisor could do, was make a case themselves on your behalf, not actually solving the issue. Then you come to EA answers, where we are told multiple times that customers cannot contact the Terms of Service team here, and reply with the same copy + paste response which leads you to creating a case, which will be ignored in the long run. My suggestion to counter this, and generally improve the EA customer support, is to allow Terms of Service team members to engage in Live Chat and on the phone with customers. It would be a much more organic response, and the customer will be able to assure themselves with the fact that they are certain another human is helping them on their case. All of the EA advisors I've engaged with have been so polite and as helpful as they can, it's a shame it's the heavily flawed system they work in is just simply discrediting them, and making the information they give you useless. Is it possible that I receive a reply to this stating why they can't, or that you consider this as an option for the future. P.S - For the sake of my sanity, please do not respond with instructions directing me to the 'Create a Case' screen. Many thanks for reading.Solved8.6KViews60likes4CommentsHow to speak to a manager for support?
How can I speak to a manager? None of the support team will help with my activation emails/password reset emails I can't get. Yahoo verified that ea never sends me any verification emails or password reset emails. Your only chat team always sends an activation email from another account and not the one it should come from. I should not have to contact EA every time and want to simply change my password.Solved1.1KViews0likes7CommentsPlants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville won't launch
Hey all, When I start my game, the East Anti Cheat window with the load bar comes up, disappears a few seconds after the load bar finishes, and about 15 seconds after that the Origin window reappears with the play button available again. Now, here is what I've tried so far, uninstalling/reinstalling the game, Origin and my graphics driver, repairing the game and EAC, clearing the cache, running Origin and the game in administrator, Performed a clean reboot, None of this has worked or made any change to the original problem. Please help,1.2KViews0likes21CommentsHigh CPU when downloading and repairing
Several times I have reinstalled Origin as well as Sims 4 on my PC. I should not have 90-100% CPU utilization when downloading or repairing games. I believe this is also related to my PC's inability to launch Sims 4 (hence the repeated attempts at repairing). When starting Sims 4 it will just read "Unable to start: Cannot start because required game data is missing or damaged. Please repair or reinstall the game via Origin." It seems that has been a problem with the Origin client for several years based on the forums, at its is disappointing that Origin has not anything about this. Some other things I have noted: - Removed all expansions, packs, stuff, so the only thing I attempt to repair is The Sims 4 base game and I still notice a large jump in CPU as well as inability to start the game (same statement as above) - Sometimes I noticed that the CPU utilization would go up for every item downloaded or repaired. e.g., Origin utilization of CPU during: download of Sims 4 game (10%), download of extra content A (moves up to 20%), download of extra content B (moves up to 30%), etc. after ~6 or so of the 20 extra content I have my CPU at 100% utilization. - In a prior posts, I saw a differentiation between "Download" vs "Install" on origin, and the high CPU could be due to installation still being needed. This would make sense to the above bullet, as CPU increases for each downloaded game (but not necessarily installed?). Either way, why don't we have an indication on the the Origin dashboard about Installations? Pls FXSolved4.7KViews7likes16CommentsOrigin stopped opening before close date
Hi all! I am hoping someone could help me with the Origin app, because EA Support is not sure what to do. The Origin app is set to stop working on Mac in April this year. I have an older model computer, so am unable to download the EA app. For some reason though, the Origin app has stopped working as well. The app will open but the pop-up will just say Connecting to Origin for hours. I tried to use the Reset Origin tool, but it keeps saying access denied. Has anyone had this issue? I'd appreciate any and all help!KaterinaSage16 days agoNew Novice54Views1like1Comment
