@sneffxx If you are experiencing slow download speeds the first thing to try would be to try Pausing and then Resuming the download. In most cases the download speed should pick up then.

You can find more troubleshooting steps for connection issues here.

Let us know how you get on!

  • e isn't n on 9% yet and I started it at like 11 something last night. woke up and it was paused!!!

    Hello!

My Sims 4 is really really slow and so is my Origin. I'm running it on Administrator but Sims isn't downloading as fast as I'd like it to. My computer is also restarting my progress and making me start all over again.

If there's any way of helping me please reply as soon as possible!

    Thank you.

  • safe mode isn't working. It's been 3 days and the percentage is 20%. i just wanna play the sims..

  • @Esdraxia
if you have tried the EAcore.ini help and its antivirus allow list with game.exe. and origin.exe

then there is some app help clean pc for junk files and temp files. it has been seen before they actual help.

but you are at ends road, unless you have much more informations so someone has a idea what this is.

dont forget a reboot so change and system change is saved.

    ps.

i dont work for EA, only try to help if that is even possible.

Did you manage to get this sorted?  We've been trying to download for over 24 hours and it got to 37% and then reverted back to 25%! ☹️

  • Paused and resumed it as instructed and it’s gone back to 1% after taking over an hour to get to 3% 😡 ffs!

  • So I got my download expecting time from 9 hours to 11 minutes I don’t even know how it worked 😂 so clicked on origin too left of the screen went to application settings. Gives you 5 options at the top stay on application and I changed my download restrictions from no limit to 768 KB/a when messing around expecting it to take longer as KB is a smaller amount than GB but it manager to work, also I changed both out of game and during gameplay to this option but then changed out of back to no limit and it’s worked a treat. 🙂
