Re: How to change EA account email without access to old email address

I already did so. The problem is, is it says it’s waiting on me. Waiting on player. How is that POSSIBLE? I haven’t gotten ANY emails from EA! Not a single one! What I’m assuming is that it sent the email to the account I no longer have access to. WHY WOULD IT DO THAT?? The whole point is to get rid of that email!

Im having the same issues as you. I filled in that webform thing like 5 times and they still couldn't verify it. All I want to do is change the email address

Sorry to say @EderichIsAwe but if our team is unable to grant you access to the account then you will need to gather as much additional info as possible and fill in the account recovery form again.

This is my old email that I am texting from And I’m trying to play madden trail and I can’t get my mobile items to my ps4 because I can’t switch emails through ea y’all need to talk to someone because the email I’m texting from is deleted and I have no way to receive the verification code To change the email out for my new one please help cause I’m really mad ea make no sense for this.i can’t even make a attempt to change it  you should at least be able to log out

Is there any way the ea can just unlink the 2 emails from the accounts because I really wanted to play and now my other emails stuck on another account

I've talked to them multiple times about this issue.  I can log into my ea account but cant add a new email because the code goes to my old email that doesn't exist.  EA has literally hijacked my Xbox Live gamertag.  I know multiple others who have the same issue.

My friend is having the same problem and cannot play any EA games whatsoever. After talking to multiple online service assistants he has made zero progress. All of the solutions on your website have done nothing to change the situation.

Yeah and what we keep saying is they cant do anything what did you guys do cause looking at alot of these they all happened in august so ea did something that has effectively stopped a good portion of the customers from playing your games and i know for one wont be buying ea games with online features again cause whats the point if you wont let me relink or unlink my account its just great customer service

Its really annoying you guys need to change it cause it seems a lot of us made these accounts when we were kids and so know have different emails and cant access the old ones and now can longer play your games figure it out ea you are already on thin ice in the gaming community and if this keeps happening to people its going to cause serious backlash

I agree, and EA is extremely incompetent. It would be a lot more simple than having most of the gaming community hate you to just make it where people can link/unlink their Xbox/PSN from their account. I was literally told by a customer service rep that I'll have to make a new xbox account to fix my problem. That's absolutely absurd and unacceptable. This is obviously a really bad, ongoing issue that many people are facing with the inevitable, depressing realization that they may never be able to play another EA game without making a new account, even if they wanted to. Their games have been going on a downward slope anyways so I'm not too banged up about not being able to play, but 2K, Skate, and Battlefield I do play. They're never getting another dollar out of me though and I'm sure a lot of people are at the point where they're not going to either. They don't care about their customers, their customer service solutions are absurd, and they're literally hanging on by mere microtransactions like the rest of the companies in this s**tpool chasing a dollar more than making the people that built their global conglomerates happy. 

Same issue here...Tried Multiple times to delete/remove an old account and its completely impossible. And it blocks you from linking a new ea account to PSN as well.I have several Battlefield games that are completely useless now.

If support team would help get my origin profile PC234 back because i have games on it and allow me updated the gmail but last time i tried they did not help me at all. my previous gmail got hacked and yes i know password and old gmail but no access to change my account at all. 

Yep same issue here. Tried multiple chats with different images proving it's me, but because I don't know an e-mail from 15 years ago they can't help. "Just switch to a new gamertag" lovely policies you guys have in place for literally no reason 🙂

You EA people are the worst. I just had this problem and it was the biggest headache I've ever had. All I wanted to do was change my email address and it was like a3 ring circus with the amount of good I had to jump through. I had to verify when I bought certain games even though I had already verified that it definitely was my account. Now, I have to create a new PSN account so I can create a new EA Sports account. Ridiculous.... absolutely ridiculous.

having same issue here, made this account in 2013 but my current email doesnt exist and i cant change it because it wants to send my security code to the non existent email which is my current one, really sucks.

3 years for me, ad the old account has only 1 game registered to it and thats dragon age ultimate edition, so losing the account only loses my dlcs, which id really rather not have t pay for again, seriously ea needs to google reviews of their company, it might be eye opening for them
