If you buy the game for $14.99 on the origin website do you need to have a paid origin account to play this sims game? Or is me spending the $15 enough to play as I wish?

Hey @claudiaori1 an Origin account is free and if you purchase a game then you can play it without any membership of further payments.

- @EA_Darko I purchased the game in origin and it automatically set a direct debit for a monthly payment.

Hey @boradolito are you sure that you purchased a game and not an EA Play membership?
Purchasing a game will not set up a monthly payment.
Darko - @EA_Darko Thank you for your reply. No I realized I did purchased the membership although on EA website it just said buy Sims 4, so its confusing. Could you please send me a link where I can purchase just the game? Thanks!

Hey @boradolito you can purchase it here: https://www.origin.com/irl/en-us/store/the-sims/the-sims-4
If you hit Get Game and then on the window that opens you will see the Buy Now option below the EA Play option.

- @EA_Darko Thank you for your message. That is what I did. I selected the buy option under the join EA and it still set a direct debit. I saw they sell it on Amazon, do you know in which platform I can play that one? Thanks!

Hey @boradolito I tested this just now and selecting buy now creates a one-off payment, it should not create an ongoing direct debit.
Are you sure that you are selecting the right option?
