But to answer the question, the expansion is too new to enter in a sale. Around two weeks since launch. So, i doubt that we will see a decent sale (read 33%) until summer 2018.
Usually the sales for games are following some rules. After 6 months, you might have a 25% sale. After 9 months - 1 year, 33%. After 1 year and half 50%. After two years 75% or more.
Some publishers won't follow those rules for certain games. The more successful the game is, the longer takes for a good discount to appear. This BF sale marked the first time when the first three expansions for Sims 4 had a 66% discount, which is by far the biggest discount that the expansions had, until now.
You do have a better chance to get a good discount in an old-fashioned brick and mortar store. From my understanding, Target retail chain had a great discount for the Cats and Dogs expansions for this Black Friday (apparently it was quite meaty, if i am to believe our US residents).
And we do have a great Sims community ready to help. You have the AHQ boards link already, but you might want to check the official Sims 4 forums, too. In the upper right corner you can change the language and select one of the supported countries, or you can stick with the US community.
