@iiiizzm  I split your comment off, since the other thread was considered solved.  You might try the same technique that was recommended, though—running the Origin reset tool for macs.

Then go to your Origin library and click on the Sims 4 icon.  If the game still doesn't download, reset Origin again, and when you launch it, allow automatic updates of Origin and the game.  TS4 should start downloading automatically.

If that doesn't help either, please check how much free storage you have.  Click on the Apple logo in the upper left corner of your screen, select About This Mac, and click the Storage tab.

    could you help me I did everything you said and its still saying download failed and its paused because I need permission from windows

    hey could you help me I can't seen to download sims 4 on origin for Mac I have a refurbish computer sometimes I feel that is the reason but I still try to download I did all the solutions people said, I used the reset origin tool, I have a check next to organ in my system preferences , and I'm using an admin account and I'm still not able to download it.

    @keyathabarbie  Please post the full specs of your Mac: everything under About This Mac including the operating system and except for the serial number.
