command and conquer red alert 2 will not play with windows update. there are parts of the screen that will not function making gameplay impossible.

Are you able to play the game under an older operating system if you right-click on the desktop shortcut>Select Properties>Compatibility?
Do you see any positive results if you change the resolution of your screen?
We may have the same problem. I play RA2 Yuri's Revenge. It worked a couple days ago and has lots of problems today. My game's appearance has changed. It is a different resolution, the units appear chunkier, like the earliest C&C games looked. The controls don't work right. Some buttons don't work or don't work for long periods of time such as the load saved game button takes about 30 seconds to work. My mouse cursor drifts and clicks don't work or don't work for a long time. This computer plays Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019 at 2K very smoothly but acts overmatched on RA2?
