Will We Ever Get A New SimCity On PC?
As the title suggestions will we ever get another SimCity on PC? It’s coming up on the 20 year anniversary of SC4 and 10 years since SC2013 so it would be great to get a proper single player focuse...

In all honestly I’d be even happy with a modern remake of SimCity. In saying that I’d ideally love for it to be something that has many of the mechanics of SC2013 (like how you can upgrade building's rather than placing new ones, tourism like casinos effects crime etc) but just more single player focused and larger maps.- @mrmeowpuzz
I want exactly the same thing as you. The game was perfect the way it was, it just needs to be more single-player focused and have larger maps. I'd love to see MaxisMan come save my SimCity once again!

I keep swapping back and forth between Cities Skyline and SimCity 2013 and the latter just has this special look and feel to it that can’t be replicated.
I seen on Reddit that this was actually a post SC2013 build despite the title. I really do hope one day soon both our dreams are made and we get a SC2023!
If there is ever going to be a new sim city, I would like it to have roads underpasess and overpasess, same goes for train tracks. More complex traffic aragament in general. Bigger maps of course. To be able to move buildings, to have cemetery, more public transport options, more types of roads, bycicle lanes, pedestrian lanes. To be able to restart map! To be able to enable/disable dissasters. If needed reemploy gyus from Maxis, so EA could make a masterpiece game 😉

Bring multiplayer with the game aswell, love how you can start a map with friends and play togehter, sending resources etc. But bigger cities so we can build more should be made. Maybe some new big projects could be added. And in general just make Simcity 2013 more modern. I think it would be a banger to get simcity back with todays technology.

Any word on this? I read that they were rekindling Maxis a few years back, did that happen?
tbh SimCity (2013) introduced a lot of REALLY good concepts and was in many ways a big step forward. Sure, there were some crippling bugs...lessons learned, do better next time and move on!
Franchises like Tropico and Anno show there is still a vibrant community and interest in the genre.
Bring back SimCity already!!
