My old email address was deactivated and I cannot login to check the security codes. I tried with the support team but they're asking me some questions which I cannot remember the answer anymore. However I have other proof that this is my account. Please advise.

We're unable to assist with account changes here at the EA Forums. For further assistance with that, you will need to contact EA Help Support again. If you don't have access to the email address, they will try to verify the account ownership in other ways, and if they can't verify that you're the account owner, unfortunately, they cannot make any changes to the account as the account security is very important.
