Ultima V: Warriors of Destiny by Origin error / it quits upon launch
I downloaded a package of Ultima III, IV, and V. Ultima III and IV work fine but with Ultima V, it doesn't.
When I click play on the game Ultima V: Warriors of Destiny, two small boxes load. First a DOS-looking box with black background, followed quickly by another box with the actual words, DOS BOX, in orange.
Then, my whole screen goes black to launch the game. About 3 seconds later, it quits to desktop.
I've tried the following:
- Repair
- Uninstall and reinstall (both the Game & EA App)
- Clear Cache of EA APP
- Making sure my NVIDIA Driver is updated
- Submitted an "EA Error Reporter" message
- Quitting all other apps and only loading EA App
- Restarting my computer
Nothing has worked so far. Could use some help. Any other fans of the old Ultima series faced this?
