Grid Legends might have a prettier menu graphics, but boy, this interface is laughably unusable in its current state. So pay your respects to PC3, as it's a way more polished product than the newest Grid.I'm playing on Steam and I'm only going to list stuff that I personally experience. If you guys have annything to add here, pleaes do. Current feedback on this forum seems to be all over the place, that's why I'm creating this thread.This approach seemed to work really well on Grid 2019 support forums, I hope I'll get some traction here also.I might expand this list, when I run into new bugs. I won't be posting any screenshots or videos with proof, compiling this takes too much of my time anyway.Here we go:3. GAME IS IGNORING YOUR TEAM NAME [not fixed in 5.0]In Team Profile, you are able to customize your time, which includes naming it.You can name it whatever you want, but during career races, it will always say 'Player Team' on all the standings lists.What is the point of naming my team then?Patch 3.3 shows the correct team name in pre-race gridwalk, but in the standings it's still broken - showing 'player team'No changes with 4.0.4. HYPERACTIVE CONTROLLER TRIGGERS IN GARAGE MENU [not fixed in 5.0]In Garage, you can scroll through the list of cars using left and right analog triggers. Unfortunately, game takes input from them even on a 1% press, which sometimes causes that menu to scroll by itself, I had to configure deadzones for my triggers to avoid this, I think game interface should only act when the trigger is pressed to 50% or even more, to avoid potential issues.6. SPONSORS AND THEIR OBJECTIVES MAKE NO SENSE [feedback needed]Game is not tracking and//or displaying the sponsor objective progress correctly.Individual objectives like 'drive kilemeters' or 'finish races in front of teammate' do not track progress correctly. Sometimes they don't progress at all, sometimes they do track, but then revert back after some time.Sponsor also has issues tracking the number of completed challenges. You need 3 to complete the sponsor contract, but you can often complete it with 2/3 or even 1/3 score.Sometimes with 3 completed objectives will not conplete the sponsor, and it will show 2/3 or 1/3.It's all over the place, and after all those patches there are still issues with this.In 4.0, 3 new sponsors were added, one of them started with 1/3, one objective already completed, despite me never playing the DLC content...Changing sponsors will give you 'all others will be reset' warning, though it does not reset the other sponsors, they still remain on 1/3, 2/3 or even 3/3.7. CAREER EVENTS WON'T ALLOW YOU TO DO STUFF WITH YOUR CAR [not fixed in 5.0]Some events in Career mode give you a loan car which you have to race.I understand that you are not able to upgrade this car or repaint it, but still, clicking on the event from the menu instantly takes you to the race, which is very confusing.This applies to many of the first races in every category, for example- Lotus Cup Event 1 - single make series, you can only drive Lotus- Clio Cup Event 1 - single make series, you can only drive Clio- Super Modified Event 1 - different car in the series, but you are given a Civic- TC-G Event 1 - different car in the series, but you are given an AstraBut there are also events that give you the choice of the car from the start (for example: GT Class 3 Event 1), which is very inconsistent. You just never know what happens when you click on Event 1 - will you be taken to car selection screen, or just instantly to the race, with an unknown car?Please, set a standard here. ALWAYS show us the car which we'll be driving in the event, regardless if it's a choice or not.If it's a forced loan car, I would really like just to see what I'll be driving. Otherwise, I can only know while already standing on the grid.10. FINISHING A CAREER RACE TAKES YOU BACK ONE (MORE LIKE TWO) SCREEN TOO FAR [not fixed in 5.0]So in Career, you select Rookie, then Touring, then do a race there. After finishing, I expect to be taken back to Touring event choice, so I can continue there and complete the category.Unfurtunately, game takes you back to the Career main screen, where I have to pick Rookie again, and then find Touring again, and then find the next event.It happens every single time, after finishing any Career event.This might be a small thing, but when trying to complette a category in one sitting, it can be frustrating, as you takes you out from your game loop.17. WEEKLY/MONTHLY CHALLENGES DO NOT LET YOU DO STUFF TO YOUR CAR [not fixed in 5.0]This is similar to issue #7, but worse.When clicking on a weekly or monthly challenge, you are taken straight to that challenge, and you won't even know which car you will drive.After the event loads, you can check what car you're driving. And since car upgrades work in this mode, there is a chance that the car you are given is NOT UPGRADED, which will ruin your performance.So you need to quit the event, go to garage, check the car there and upgrade it, and then go back to the event.Please, after clicking the event, show us what car are we driving, and allow us to paint/clean/tune/upgrade, just as in most of the career events. 22. PRE-RACE AND POST-RACE STANDINGS SCREENS BOTH DISPLAY FALSE NEMESIS INFORMATION [not fixed in 5.0]Pre-race screen is always showing a clean field of drivers, noone is my nemesis.Post-race screen is always showing that every single driver except for me and my teammate is both rival and nemesis (purple + red icons.It does not matter how many real nemesis I have at the start and the end of the race. Both screens are just giving wrong info.23. UNABLE TO SCROLL THE SPONSOR MENU WITH A GAMEPAD [not fixed in 5.0]DLC2 added 3 new sponsors. The sponsor choice menu now has 4 rows, and the icons do not fit on the screen.There's a scrollbar on the right, but you can only use it with a mousewheel or a mouse pointer.Seems like there's no way to scroll the sponsors with a controller.24. 'PROGRESS' TAB SHOWS INCORRECT INFORMATION ABOUT COMPLETED SINGLE PLAYER CONTENT [not fixed in 5.0]This one is kinda big, I don't know how I didn't notice that earlier.You can access this screen from the HOME tab, and clicking on PROGRESSION or from the TEAM tab -> TEAM PROFILE -> PROGRESS.Why this is called progress in one place, and progression in other - I wish I knew 🙂So, when opening that progression screen, you can see lots of stats. Some of them are correct (like teammate upgrades bought or story events completed) but lots of them are just wrong:- career events completed - this one is all over the place, let's look at the details:touring - 42/51tuner - 34/41gt - 38/46track day - 39/52open wheel - 24/28trucks - 25/35electric - 23/29drift - 8/19demolition derby being the only one shown correctly, at 11/11- cars purchased - shown wrong, 138/145Game probably thinks that there is way more events in the game that we really have, that's why it shows this info here and the wrong info on the career tab.25. CANCELED LAPTIME NO LONGER SHOWN ON THE HUDIf you invalidate your lap (mostly because going off track) your current laptime should be shown in red color.After 5.0, it's just shown normally, in white, pretending to be valid. Then you finish the lap and have no idea why it didn't count... very painful for time attack events..

CLEAN & RESPRAY IS NOT CLEANING & RESPRAYING YOUR CAR [fixed]Took me some time to finally notice this, but when I try to clean up my white Challenger, I can clearly see dirt on the bumpers after using that option.So the conclusion is - this feature does not work.14. FORD FOCUS TC-2 INCORRECT THUMBNAIL IN THE GARAGE VIEW [fixed in 3.1] When browsing your cars in the garage, you'll find out that the Ford Focus TC-2 has a thumbnail showing Ford Falcon.Thumbnail for Focus TC-2 seems to be non-existant in garage menu.Sometimes it's the other way - both cars share the thumbnail of the Focus, with no Falcon thumbnail present.20. RACE CREATOR 'VEHICLES' PANEL DOES NOT SHOW CAR THUMBNAILS ANYMORE [fixed in 3.2]Set your modifiers, discipline, class and proceed to 'vehicles' section, where you can toggle cars that will abe available for the event on and off.The car miniatures are not showing at all, only a big + is visible.19. UNLOCKING STAGE 2 CAR UPGRADES DOES NOT UNLOCK THE 'FULLY UPGRADED' EVENT FINALES [fixed in 3.1 probably?]Finally I'm able to confirm this new bug. You need to unlock stage 2 upgrades for a car, to be able to race in the 'fully upgraded' final events - it says so on the event itself, for example: 'UNLOCK RACING TRUCKS VEHICLE UPGRADE STAGE 2 TO ACCESS THIS EVENT'. And that was the case before the awesome patch 2.0 landed.Now the fully upgraded events unlock after you reach stage 3 upgrades, and the game still tells you that stage 2 upgrades are needed. 2. HYPERACTIVE CONTROLLER BUTTONS IN RACE CREATOR MENU [fixed in 3.1] When trying to navigate through the race creator on a gamepad, the d-pad is on crack. Pressing left or right once (for say, number of laps adjustment) changes the number by few clicks, instead of one. What is strange, is that in some cases it works just fine (like changing number of drivers), while in other places (number of laps, modifiers, advanced) it's broken.8. CAREER MULTI-ROUND - EVENT STANDING' SCREEN [fixed in 3.2]This one I find quite hilarious.When you finish a race in a multi-round career event, you will see the results for race / event / team.Race tab is fine, Team tab is useless but the 'Event' screen is really funny.See, it sorts the drivers not by the Event standing (so most points collected in the event) but by... the current race results (!)So let's say, in 3 race event, you finish 1st, 3rd and 9th You check the 'Event' tab to see how are your points, and you can't find yourself.You know you should be somewhere on the top of the list, but on the top of the list is Rick Scott with his 25 points and you are on the 9th place with 41 points 🙂Please, sort that list properly. Not by POS, but by PTS9. REPLAY CAMERA ROTATION ISSUE [ZOMG FIXED IN 2.0!!!11]When you watch a replay of your race, and go to the chase cam, you can rotate the camera freely with your right thumbstick.But when you pause the replay, to stage some nice shot for a screenshot, you cannot rotate it anymore.So the functionality we had in Grid 2 and Grid Autosport is taken away. You need to set your camera angle while the replay is rolling (automatically, or manually, using your left and right trigger). Only then the camera rotation works. The moment the thing is paused (so the best moment to rotate the cam) your right thumbstick is dead.Please, give us back the camera rotation functionality. It was broken in Grid 2019 and not working properly in Legends.11. CAREER MULTI-RACE EVENT PODIUM SCHIZOPHRENIA [fixed in 3.3] After finishing the last race of a multi-race event, you're presented with the 3 car podium, as usual.If you won the event, but did not win the last race, your car will be presented on the 1st place, but with the name tag of the AI racer who actually won the last race. Game needs to decide what this podium is supposed to be showing - race results or event results? Right now, it shows both on the same time.18. PRE-RACE EVENT STANDING SCREEN NOT WORKING [fixed in 3.3]This applies to multi-round events. Before the race, go to the 'event standings' menu item, and you'll be rewarded with... nothing. There are 2 tabs here, EVENT and TEAM. EVENT (the useful one) shows nothingTEAM (the completely useless one) seems to be working correctly, after patch 3.2)15. RACE CREATOR GRID ORDER SETTINGS REFER TO FUNCTIONALITY THAT IS NOT IN THE GAME [not fixed in 3.2] Race creator -> advanced -> grid order settings. Here you can find:- previous grid order- previous grid order reversed- previous round result- previous round result reversed As you somehow forgot to implement a multi round championships in the game, those options do nothing, as it is impossible to have more than a single round in custom races.With only a single round, it's not possible to have 'previous grid' or 'previous round'.If you select any of those options, the game will give you a random grid order instead Those options should be removed, OR a custom championship should be implemented, so those options have a chance of actually doing something.1. NOT BEING ABLE TO PERMANENTLY CLEAR YELLOW ! MARKERS [fixed in 4.0]This is mostly resolved, I still have 1 unclearable marker on my HOME screen, every time after finishing a weekly/monthly event.I can clear it though, using the new menu option... which is not a fix, but a workaround, so I'm still keeping this one open.16. USING CLEAN & RESPRAY IN YOUR GARAGE MENU MAKES ALL THE CAR THUMBNAILS DISAPPEAR [fixed in 4.0]Go to garage, pick one car, clean&respray - all the car thumbnails displayed currently on your screen will disappear, except for the car you just resprayed.You can fix the thumbnails by scrolling through those invisible cars.21. PRE-RACE TUNING MENU TOOLTIPS ARE LAGGING, AND WILL DESYNC, SHOWING THE WRONG TOOLTIP [not fixed in 3.3]When you browse through the 5 items in the car tuning menu, the tooltips will eventually lag behind and stop syncing to the selected item.So you end up having selected 'dampers' and it gives you the tooltip for 'springs'.5. LIVERY EDITOR INTERFACE IS A CONFUSING DISASTER [fixed in 4.0]There has been some improvements here with patch 3.3, individual liveries now have their unique names, like URBAN 03 or VIP MOTORSPORT 01 and after you apply your custom livery the menu does not try to destroy all your work.Issues still remain:- there is no scrollbar when browsing through the liveries in a category - when editing the livery of a car that already has your custom livery, you are now taken to the correct livery category, but not to the livery that is currently on the car, the game misses it by few places.Example 1: my Opel Astra V8 Coupe has Prestige 11 livery set. When editing it, I'm pointed to Prestige 05.Example 2: my Renault Laguna Touring Car has Tuner 22 livery set. When editing it, I'm pointed to Tuner 16Example 3: my Jupiter Formula X has Art 11 livery set. When editing it, I'm pointed to Art 05- another small issue: Let's say your car has livery PRESTIGE 10, with your custom colors. So you want to edit the colors. Select PRESTIGE 10, press 'customize'. The game remembers the base color of your car that you set (marked with a green v sign) but will load the default white base color, that is present in upper left corner of the color grid. This is confusing and gives the impression of 'omg I've broken my perfect livery'. You can still navigate to the color with green v sign and 'fix' your creation that way. This should be fixed by moving the cursor to the color with the green v sign automatically, after clicking 'customize'.12. INCORRECT CAREER PROGRESS DISPLAY [fixed in 5.0]After completing the whole ROOKIE division (gold cup in every single event), Grid Challenges category shows 73% progress, instead of 100%The whole division displays a [checkered flag] 7/8 progression.For the SEMI-PRO, a similar issue - Grid Challenges category shows 42% completion instead of 100% and whole division displays a [checkered flag] 9/10 progression.Completed challenges for PRO level give me 33% of completion, whole division is 9/10GAUNTLET is 9/9, the only one that is actually correct.

13. Nemesis is PermanentIt seems like if you ever anger anyone they are permanently your enemy. I've got a growing list of people who are trying to yeet me off the track because nobody ever cools down and it seems like even existing next to them in the race standings will trigger nemesis. Daring to get overtake or get close will trigger nemesis. If this system triggered only a few races and everyone cooled off it would be better than dealing with the rage of every driver forever.

I'm also tired of seeing the yellow markers that there for no reason. I have career finished and I get all events with yellow markers and all my cars have a yellow marker. This is so annoying. What happened to the days where games didn't need updates

Updated point 3 with additional occurence of the bug that won't show your team name in game.Updated point 6 with AVAX sponsor bug.

Yeah, after you cross the finish line, the bots remaining laptime is calculated automatically, and the calculation is hilarious simetimes, making you drop like from 1st to 7th.Not finishing the last lap (waiting few minutes just before the start/finish line usually helps here.This is still a bug and should be looked into anyway.
