Failed load?

i just bought the game and was excited tro try it out but the first thing that happens is when i load up the game and come to the start screen, i press enter and it says "Load failed. Failed to load save profile, do you want to retry?" And when i click retry the same thing show up instantly. How can it fail to load a profile i havent even created yet?

    Hi @84XPVINER To confirm is the drive the game is on protected/monitored by any security software? If not can you try to load the device in a Clean Boot and seeing if the message continues?

    @84XPVINER I found a solution for this.. 

    My problem was that my c:/user/.. where my saved was stored included special charathers.

    I found this youtube video to be usefull, but i do not recommend it as it can brick your pc if not done correctly https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y5_Q2BmTx3Y

    Alternativly just make a secound account on your pc called "Grid" or whatever and install ur game from that profile. That solved the issue for me..

    I just installed the game today and stumbled upon the same issue.

    I figured out another fix:

    My Game had no savegame directory under: C:\Users\<Username>\Documents\My Games\GRID Legends\

    I simply added two folders which made it work: C:\Users\<Username>\Documents\My Games\GRID Legends\savegame\profile\

    I feel like this might be a bit less complicated.
