The handling in Legends is more forgiving compared to 2019.
You can drive over a curb without fear of losing control.
On the other hand, the steering response feels faster in 2019.
I have finished the 2019 career mode but it felt like a chore in the end.
The amount of events was too big for the number of tracks, cars and race types.
Legends a has more tracks, cars and race types.
I have tried Legends' career mode just after release but progression bugs ruined the experience.
After 3 career resets, I decided to wait for the progression bugs to be fixed.
Luckily the Story mode was there to keep me racing for a while.
Legends made me realise that 2019 isn't bad at all.
2019 has qualifying laps, working ultrawide screen support and decent looking replays.
Almost a year after release, Legends still lacks those features.
I liked 2019's no-nonsense approach, just a few menus and race! No FMVs, no upgrades.
The only reason I boot Legends once in a while is to race in a car or on a track that is not in 2019.
