Grid Legends - Black Screen on Launch
Hi There,
I just installed this game start it, get a black screen at launch then the black screen disappears then I am back in EA Origin \: The game crashes before i can see any welcome screen.

- Run the System File Checker tool, Then /check for Windows updates (you may need to check intel directly)
- Reinstall/Repair DirectX
- Run the VC installer (select repair if it shows as installed), run both x64 and x86 exes
- Location VC2015 = [drive game is installed on]:\Games\OriginLibrary\GridLegends\__Installer\vc\vc2015\redist
- Location VC2019 = [drive game is installed on]:\Games\OriginLibrary\GridLegends\__Installer\vc\vc2019\redist
- We also have additional Graphics steps on our Troubleshooting Graphics issues guide
- Disable Origin in-game overlay and any other running overlay
Hi @EA_Illium okay i've tried all of them, ran a /scannow wich found some missing files and repaired them, but didn't help on the game. Intel was latest driver and directx where okay. But I couldn't find the VC installer, is it located somewhere else on steam version?
- EA_Illium@ixferrari458xi It should be located in the games install folders, regardless of the client. If it was removed you can also find the VC for 2015 & 2019 on Microsoft's site directly.
