Hi @Terrorsatanous @ixferrari458xi Thanks for trying these steps, I've shared this with the team to be aware of. If I get additional information I can share it here.
For anyone else who may encounter this issue, would it be possible to get a DxDiag?
p.s. I merged two threads together, tagging @AVeryNiceGuy @HSMahou @DesNukem If you could try the additional steps I posted previously and share dxdiag's if nothing seems to make a difference.
Thanks!

Thank You for your reply.
Unfortunately it did not help: I have already two VC++ 2015-2022 (x86 & x64) installed.
I am adding DxDiag file if you find a clue.
Thanks.

Hey Everyone!,
Thanks for providing the additional information!
While we look into this I wanted to confirm if anyone could try setting their monitors to their native resolution and only using one monitor, if it made a difference or not in getting the game to launch fully.
Thanks!
- 4 years ago@EA_Illium Thanks for your reactivity. I am using an ultrawide screen 49inch monitor (only one is enought) with a native resolution 3840 1080 144hz. I hope it helps.
I know sometimes my ultrawide monitor create more trouble than benefits. - 4 years agoHi @EA_Illium I have a 27" G-sync monitor with resolution 2560x1440 165hz, removed second screen and VR headset, still the same issue.

EA_Illium, please stop 'passing the buck' and wasting our time with all these useless troubleshooting procedures. The problem is not specific to our hardware or software as it is occurring across a diverse range of systems and setups. Obviously, some component of Grid Legends that is not in any other game is preventing it from running on many machines. Once the developers isolate that, the problem will be solved.

Problem fixed for me with the v2.0 update. The Patch Notes include this cryptic message from the developer:
'Various reasons that would cause the game to crash have been resolved across all platforms.'

The only working solution I've found is to run the game in Windows 7 compatibility mode. I've only ever installed Grid Legends on a Windows 10 PC, and I never had any issues until I tried to reinstall it this year. It would load to the first screen that prompts you to press a button to continue, on button press it would hang and then crash. Changing it to compatibility mode for Windows 7 is the only step that has changed this for me, and game runs just fine now.
