@tef892023 Its not just consoles, game's been running worse on midrange PC setups as well. I've lost about 15-20fps on avg with the same Mid/High preset that I've run basically since launch day.
@theravenousbeast Thanks for the reply. I've added my experience to the bug post but no idea if the Devs care about this game anymore.
I also checked with a couple of Xbox players I race online with. One is on series X other on S both of them reported framedrops since last patch, especially noticeable in rain/snow/storm. Fuji was pointed out as well.
For me it's been noticeably worse on the city tracks. The London track especially framerate takes a massive dive in that section with the really fast right left right left chicane.
Exactly my experience too sadly.
So I read back the 6.0 update patch notes and it does say this:
- Several stability adjustments have been made, reducing the frequency of game crashes
- Several visual improvements have been made throughout the game to tracks and environments
It would be nice if a developer actually told us what exactly was changed so at least PC users can downgrade that specific setting. If I had to guess its object LOD but regardless.
Unfortunately I don't know what can be done for console users ☹️
