Need for speed, hot pursuit for switch….

I have made an account with EA created a password and going through everything I possibly can to link it to my switch to play this game, but I’m stuck on the verification code screen we sent you a verification code to your email… But there is no ability to enter that code I received to my email on the switch, I can’t plug-in a keyboard. Every button I pressed does nothing to bring a keyboard up and it is making me regret ever buying the game because now I can’t play because it is stuck on the screen after going through making an account creating a new password , and now it wants a verification code the platform will not let me enter when I press any buttons. No keyboard comes up. Can you please help me? I am sure other people are having the same issue.
