That is one of the worst arcade settings that could be made for a tournament at arcade level. That for sure would be a quick pass.
They're actually 4 reachable par 4 so users can go at it over and over again with their UNLIMITED free attempts.

It's funny you complained, then turned around and I see you at the top of the leaderboard with -8 on 4 holes. 😃
They were all Power Drive 3 wood, sis just got -8 too.
I got on the green over the rocks using finesse 2W.
I used all Power 3 wood too, missed one of the putt. It was actually fun, they were not these frustrating reachable par 4 where lot of luck came into play.
Every daily tournaments except for Random 4 are 15mph wind. Are you kidding me?
Michelle, did you see the Weekly Arcade and Pro tournaments? They're both 15mph too. 😠
The last time it was something like that for Weekly Pro, I finished something like 80th and didn't even make the cut for top 20%, that's how few played it.
I remember there was an option to change wind speeds in TW14. I think the options were No Wind, Calm Winds and Gale Force Winds. If current game had that option, the Arcade tournaments would be much better. It makes no sense to have 15 mph winds for Arcade tournaments. Unfortunately it is too late to change since game is already abandoned.
15mph winds on daily & weekly arcade & pro is crazy. This could have been a very good game, and I wish I had found it much sooner.
I bit the bullet today, basically out of sheer frustration with the way tournament settings are going, and bought 2k23. Good deals available through cdkeys (dot) com. Having played a couple of hours in that, I think there is more appeal than there is here now the game is abandoned.
Don't think I will be in this game very much now, if at all, so have fun people enjoy the end of the ride for as long as it lasts. If anyone on Steam wants to add me I am Tazfrog.

If you haven't play any of The Golf Club or 2K21, you will probably like it. Every one of those games feel the same to me, and the rivalry thing in career mode gets old real fast. TGC2, TGC2019, 2K21 and 2K23 were all given for free as PS+ game of the month so I have all of them. I have probably played less than 50 hours combined on them after playing the original TGC.
I have been playing golf games for over 40 years. Basically they are all the same in most aspects in terms of control, etc. Career mode gets boring? tell me one game where it doesn't. That mode is just something to help you to hone your skills, and learnt he finer poi9nts of each individual game. Can you honestly say the career mode here doesn't get boring quickly? Same courses, over and over.
The thing that makes a golf game good, IMO, is variety and competition. 2K23, Golf Club, etc, all have clubs and user created content that is constantly evolving, with active multiplayer features. Once I realised this game was going to be simply same old, same old, nothing new to see, then it became boring. Each to their own, but I cannot see how anyone can suggest a game with no hope of new content, no real communication or multiplayer facility will hold your interest.
I guess the fact that tournaments allow unlimited attempts is appealing to those who want to rep[eat the same thing infinitely.
Well I certainly haven't played golf games for 40 years, I'm only 27. Career mode in this game, aside of having all Majors and real courses, is nothing to write home about compared to TW12 and TW13 with the way the sponsors challenges were setup. I prefer TW13 because they started Country Club. TW14 got interesting with bigger Country Clubs and the LPGA because I was a teenage girl back then, but the sponsors were gone. Career Mode in TW14 was played all the time by many because of the Random 3 holes glitch. In all those old TW games, we had a blast because the Arcade mode was so good.
I'm not going to tell you what to play, if you prefer 2K23, play it. Some prefer the old TW08 and other Perfect Golf, it's none of my business. People should all play what they like.
That's what I always say too, people should play what they like. Somebody started a thread again lately, inviting others to 3-click and mouse swing Perfect Golf. Another wrote they're still making courses for TW08 PC.

I was merely stating a fact - this game is completely dead and a waste of time. Also letting a few people I managed o get to know where they could find me. Little kiddies assuming I was asking for their opinion is a great laugh for the day though. PMSL
