Re: my opionion....

In a few months, there will be PGA Tour 2K25 to take apart and constantly complain about.  😃  🥳

Interesting thing about 2K23, plenty for them to address in that game. But at least there enough there that I can enjoy the game and want to play it.

While it has some short comings I don't complain about it.

This game lacks any challenge which is why I don't play it. And ultimately post on this forum trying to encourage EA to do something to embrace just not the casual player.

  • @ELF014 For me, everything about 2K feels so outdated and bland that I can't take that game seriously. Even with this game's flaws, it provides the most fun golf experience for me. I complete online in tournaments and 4somes and have plenty of challenge playing against players of similar skill levels. Playing career mode and stuff like that isn't for me anyway because it gets super boring after 1 season.

I'm happy that it fills your needs and you get what you are looking for out of this game.

For me its gameplay over graphics or quantity, if it isn't fun to play it doesn't matter how pretty it is.

I play regularly with like minded friends from across the country and with EA being so easy to play it evens the playing field far too much.

You don't even have to be average at the game to shoot well under par. So you can be a much better player and gain next to no advantage. This game doesn't separate the good from the average in skill level.

  • @ELF014 I prefer the harder difficulties in this game for that reason. I mostly play sim mode and even though you think it's way to easy, its still by far the hardest mode in this game and it is the mode that I have the most fun playing. If PGA Tour 2k25 has a revamped graphics system that is on par with EA PGA Tour, I'd definitely give the game a try and be excited about that golf game. If the graphics look the same as the last 2 games, I'll probably pass because the game doesn't feel immersive graphically the way this game does and it makes none of the courses feel as fun to play.

The graphics and the feel of the game have been the same for all 5 games since the old The Golf Club.  They're going to tweak the speed here and there, a bit of tweak over there and say: here it is Charlie Brown, a brand new golf game, it's called PGA Tour 2K25 now.  And the same golf junkies will come running to buy it again. And then a few months later, 2K is going to give it away again as PS game of the month.  👿
