I have the same issue as the above, I managed to play through all of the Q school and KF tour and was on my 4th PGA Tour event on the last hole of the last round and then the game crashed my computer, now my career mode gets an infinite loop of hey try to select a tour then get stuck. I have 50+ hours on my character and now he cannot play career mode. The best part is that EA will not even acknowledge that this is a massive ongoing issue.
that actually happened to me. played over 51 hrs for my career data to be lost and i can't even restart a new one with my player iv been leveling up. thankfully i had got the game through EA Play Pro (15$ a month sub) so i have cancelled that. but imagine those people who spent 70$ and can't return it. AND wasted 50 + hrs.

I get to the fourth round of the Florida open in my rookie season on tour and when I click to start the round the game freezes and completely locks up. Reset the game, reset the PS5, doesn't matter. can play other modes fine but career mode is literally unplayable right now. The game freezes and is unplayable and i have to close out the game and restart it.
Please share any steps you've tried to far to resolve the issue: It's unresovable because I can't play the career mode round.

Started like a week after release
Nothing else is happening, including resolution
I've uninstalled, re-installed, tried on a different PC, same thing. I tried on two separate high end PCs, one a laptop. 3090ti and 2070ti.
I've tried asking for a refund with no response.
Please help, or preferably give my $70 back to I can choose a functional game.

Please share any steps you've tried to far to resolve the issue: Uninstalled and reinstalled, Bios and drivers all checked and up to date, multiple controllers and inputs all failed. Career mode is simply not allowing me to get into it.

Once in career mode I select the tournament to enter and it freezes the entire game and I have to force quit. It's been MONTHS with this issue. Please give us some sort of update. Pc. Same issue. Error code 23. Freezes up. Won’t let you play career mode. For damn near $100 I want to play the career. And to top it off, you won’t let me upload the video proof that you ask for. Laughable. Give me my money back. Crooks!

Well Golfers, this appears to be fixed after the latest Fed-Ex Cup update. I can only say that this applies to the PC version. I have no way to test a console.
Just thought I would try and activate my original golfer and it worked. I was able to re-start my golfer, albeit at the beginning of my career, but my Level (49) was still intact.
I have just played my first round at St Andrews, as my original golfer, as an amateur and all was well, it worked fine
So it appears EA Sports have fixed this (for the PC) but obviously not told anyone.
