Unfortunately you can only select pro golfers and not custom golfers and controlling each player with the controller is not applied per player - on the Xbox, each controller can control any player at any time. Xbox local profiles do not work either. 

Yes, it’s a big letdown but somewhat predictable. 

This is a deal breaker for me, did this ever get fixed?

I want to be able to play with family at home on the same controller.

@DickDastardlyTWRNope... never fixed. I am not sure it will ever be fixed.

Currently unless you are signed-in to the EA server it is not allowing you to use your own custom golfer. So using this logic... I don't know how you can sign both user created players at the same time.

I think this is a huge oversight as many people in the same household would enjoying playing the game simultaneously on or off-line.

I would like to think there are some smart people at EA to find a way to work around this.
