I wanted to check if anyone is still seeing issues with connecting a GamePad/ Controller to PGA Tour on PC?

No I just want my character career fixed, can that be possible. Another question if it can't be fixed. If I delete the character will I get the skill points back to create a new character.. I have not done it.. just asking
Yes, I am playing the game via the EA Play trial and I stopped trying to play it a few weeks ago. Tried again tonight to see if it was finally fixed and I am still having the same exact issue with my Xbox controller on PC. It shows Playstation buttons on the UI unless I am holding an input on the Xbox controller. As soon as I let go it goes back to showing PS buttons. It is hard to navigate menus because of this and I have not even gotten to try the gameplay.
- @EA_Illium Yes I am having the same issue. I’ve updated the game, controller, and everything in between. Right now I have and $80 game that I cannot play. This only started after the previous update a few days ago. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I can keep pressing the button and it will eventually let me in the tournament but as soon as I try to swing the, it says “no controller detected”. Please fix this. I don’t want a refund but at this point I paid for a game that I cannot play.
Try unplugging any additional game pads, peripherals. I have a razer game pad that was the problem. Haven't had the issue since.. now my characters career modes was removed or something. I can only get to the selection screen for what class to play. Nothing after that.. anyways hope that helped
Mine doesen't work as well. Did try almost everything been said on the internet but it doesen't it is for sure an issue caused by the game itself. So i will ask for a refund. This is nonsense !
Yes. I am having problems with Nintendo Switch Pro controller. I have turned off Steam as suggested. The game recognizes the controller if I connect after it has started, but button mapping is all screwed up and is unplayable. This is a major deal breaker.
So I found a work-around.
If you are in the game. press the controller key (the x-box button for a x-box controller).
That opens an overlay and the game then detects the controller.
