Tried for ages now, all online modes working as in tournaments and connected to the servers, Whenever try to got to competitive or social online and find opponents it says matchmaking in progress but then everytime no one is found. Surely all this time it isn't because nobody else is playing. BTW I'm having no issues on any other games. Thanks

Lobbies have room for 16 people but you only queue for 1 min so they never fill. This is kinda lame, full fields are better. Please extend the search time and let me watch the lobby fill in real time. Put a ready up option so you can go early if everyone wants.

Competitive (all modes) & Social
In all cases all 16 slots remain empty indefinitely. This is the same issue with previous online Star Wars Battlefront games where I could only match if I was in North America. But not when I am in Asia despite there being plenty of other players in Asia on at the same time searching.
Hoping you will address this issue as EA is notoriously bad at fixing their games or updating.
In my case this is Xbox series X in Asia. That being said, I've seen PS and PC players reporting the same problems outside of North America.
I am truly surprised with the avenue EA has taken with being able to match up with friends and/or other people. The matching system currently in use is something that would of been acceptable for a game in 2005.
Why can we not group up with friends before searching for a game? Every time I search for a match all the other slots are empty, this is a game that is much more enjoyable when playing with people and it just feels incomplete at this point.
Id like to see a return to the TW09 style matchmaking lobby where you had a chat window and available games shown. That way people looking for a player could post a message stating the game mode etc, and those looking for a game could see what was available or if any of their friends were online waiting for a game. Much more immersive i felt.
we badly need a lobby to make MP much easier to get together

Yeah icant find matches either if ido it's only one person but sometimes takes couple trys to find one person lol
Finally found some games online tonight, urghhhh it's terrible.... nobody, I mean nobody wants to play around Augusta with tournament greens and 18 mph winds, what are you thinking EA?
Just give us a proper lobby to set up our own games with our own settings then invite players from the lobby to compete.
I dont understand how you can get it so right in 2008 yet regress to the point of me wondering if ive stepped back in time to buy an Amstrad CPC464 or similar ridiculous 1980s PC. You do realise that the art of 'progress' is to actually improve features, not remove them.

Heck at this point i would be willing to play anyone in a blizzard on Augusta at least better than "No players found"
100% agree on the lobby, Dev's really got lazy over the years 99% of games are just match making now it's sad indeed.

And... 8 months later... still incredibly difficult/annoying to get into online matches most days (PS5). I'd also like the ability to attempt to reconnect if disconnected in the middle of a tourney. What data do you have showing low sales? What is the current sales volume total ytd?

typical I had a try once I left the last message played 4 lost 3, but I'm something like level 42 thanks to buying 2k23 via a different email which meant I've had to start from scratch. I think everyone I played are maxed out. the 1 win was someone quiting when I went 2up. 1 of my loses ended up with a missed put on the 18th (but included a rollover on the 2nd)
It's 35K sold on PC, the sale numbers are on Steam. For PS5 and XBox, I don't know.

Here are the steam sales stats. Curious what ps5 is. Too bad. I think it's a really good game for the most part and I also own 2k23 which I don't like, fwiw. Of course, 2k23 was free through ps+ for awhile 🤷♂️
