Another big thing to consider here is that the majority of people that will play online will be doing tourneys etc to rank up thier golfer and get coins in the first week.
But there certainly should be more than this, pretty sure there is a server error, as sometimes I get a few people then nobody! 2k never has a probelm with finding people, even before cross-platform. And EA will have a ton more players.
Im on PS5, ive seen on Reddit others saying the same. We are all searching but not being put into games with each other. People are sorting matches out on discord until it gets fixed:
