The game has a mind of its own, I can't successfully use my controller. Because it scrolls by itself and brings it to the bottom of the screen. I try to move it up and instantly scroll down.I bought the deluxe edition so I can play right away, but it's not happening. Disappointed I hope it can get worked out soon.

EA Staff (Retired)I had a similar issue on FIFA23 and it seems that the issue was the Bluetooth connection that the controller uses. For me I now use a usb cable to connect my xbox controller straight to the PC instead of using wireless. Hope that can help with your issue.
I use my controller direct! Its the game.
Try unplugging your keyboard and see if it stops the scrolling whilst using the Xbox controller. It might not be work and is just an idea but mine is an analogue keyboard and lots of games think that's player 1 or confuses it with my Xbox controller input.

i'm getting this issue with controller and keyboard n mouse, it just instantly scrolls to the bottom of the menu!

unplugging all these fixed it for me
And now it's doing it again after a restart...
I have this same issue. i have an xbox controller from amazon and i went to BB and also bought an xbox controller.
They both do the same thing.
i'll keep watching this thread as i can't play this at all right now.
Ok i have multiple honeycomb flight gear and i've turned off every usb device and it seems to be functioning. weird
it doesnt matter what controller your using, i cant play with other players in head to head or any multiplayer mode.. controller is not an opition, only the mouse and keyboard are.. and i tried my elite series 2 and my razer wolverine v2.. both are wired to my pc.. funny thing is the controllers work fine in single player modes....
